  1. Have people not noticed the lupo which is actually featured in max power this month????? I've seen it on here, the cream one with the porsche boxster seats retrimmed in bentley leather. There is a few pages on it.
  2. Right, I wish to de wiper my lupo at the rear. I pulled the black plastic cap off at the base and there was a wee nut. Is it just a case of un-doing this nut and the wiper assembley comes away, or is there more to it? Ofcourse I will be filling the hole with a nice grommet but what size grommet is required. I'm sure I read somewhere it was a inch or 25mm one. Also tonight I picked up a set of eibach springs to lower me loop. Realistically how hard are they to fit? I need my car everyday so it is not an option for me to have it off the road for a great deal of time. cheers, timbo
  3. Im guessing port and polish of the head mate. I think the process involves smoothing out the ports of the head to try and eliminate any imperfections. It is also normal to try and match the ports of the head to the manifold so there is no interuption of flow. These areas of the head are then polished to aid flow and also I THINK it is to reduce carbon build up as it finds it harder to gather to the polished surface. timbo
  4. Couple of pics with the team dynamics on there. Definitley needs to be lowered now, which will probably come soon. timbo
  5. How would I work out if it is the pedal box then bud? cheers
  6. Right only just got my lupo and it feels like the clutch is on the way out. When it is depressed it will go into gear but the clutch won't come back out again, it sticks there and either shoots back up or I have to prise it back up with me foot. So my question is does it sound like I need a new clutch to solve the problem and if so how much that will be!? cheers, timbo
  7. Coillies will help bud definitley. Type-r's are immense with a fast road setup they can beat most things on the road. Ordered my white team dynamics this afternoon aswell so a wee transformation to my lupo will start very soon. timbo
  8. Yeah I might get both to be honest mate to sharpen it all up. I can see what your saying with the understeer. I had a wee bit of a moment on the way back from picking the car up. I was trying to keep up with my old man in his type-r around a long slowish bend and made the unforgivable mistake of letting off the power, lift off oversteer aplenty.
  9. Just thought I would say a quick hello. I've just brought my first lupo from double d off of here. It's a 1.4 75bhp model in black. And i have to say I am impressed of it so far. Drove it all the way back from huddersfield to oxford and didn't have a problem (apart from not being able to work out the filler cap ). I have only owned classic minis in the two years i have been driving so to have suspension is a bonus!!! My plans for the lupo at the moment are pretty basic as I still currently have a project mini which is destined for a 1071 cooper s engine and lots and lots of C/F !! But I am just about to buy a set of alloys in the shape of team dynamic Pro Race 1.2's in white. I did want some OZ supertourismo's but they were a little more money. I also plan to get a BMC induction kit and a GTI style exhaust. Oh yeah and a strut brace for the front to tighten things up a little. Cheers timbo
