  1. Hi there! 

    Thank you for reading

  2. Firstly im sorry as im sure this has probably already been discussed but i bout my BMC CDA from kam racing and ive got it int the box ready i'm attempting fitting saturday with little experience! Will i need to cut away some of the big engine cover? Will i need to cut a whole out of my bumper to run the air in? Do you have to do this? Do i need to buy any other parts to fit at the same time? Will the sound be better? Finally im sorry to ask so much but im excited as im sure you can understand. Does anyone have any pictures so i can see what good looks like? Any help much appreciated Michael
  3. thanks for your help and advice really helful!!!! On the look out for my induction kit now, want new really!
  4. Well that sounds like just the sort of thing i wanted to do, think i will go with the custom built cat back exhaust, made the mistake of a straight though from manifold back (decat) on my last car and gettin an MOT was difficult to say the least! I'd like to get this induction kit but tbh i cant find anywhere to buy it from? is it the one with the tube that runs down to the front bumper? I bet it does sound nice i didnt realise there was a bedding in period, why is that? I like this sound, love it as it comes down the revs Gonna wait for the standard exhaust to start giving me some trouble first so i feel its justified even though i know they do tend to give you life time gaurentees on the custom stainless steels
  5. how many GTis were made then? For the money id get for my little lupo i'd love to be able to leave it in a garage for a decade or two! Its hard not to get carried away with moddifiying, My dad has a 1985 Toyota Corrolla GTi, just had it resprayed its in perfect condition so nice but the slightest bump would right it off! Its of much high personal value than its actually worth!
  6. Ecuse my stupidity but by bmc do you mean some sort of different air intake? ive read on here somewhere that bmc is no longer available due to the recession the manufacturer has shut down? Where would i be able to get this? Would i have to modify the engine cover in order to fit this? The car is 51 plate, registered 2002 so its 6 years old! Straight through is just plain silly? i thought that you would get the most power and noise from a straight through system? Are there companies selling GTi exhausts? Thanks for any help much appreciated!
  7. So i'd love to put some sort of straight through exhaust system on and get the car sounding a bit more grunt, but cant justify the cost, my lupo clocked 57000 now and i was wondering when i can expect it to break so i can?
  8. Wow thanks for your help but i was kind of looking for a bit more info than that? Has anyone done these works to a gti? Whats the power out put now in comparisson to the 125bhp start base? Any help much appreciated!
  9. Well demon tweeks done me two toyos for 125 delivered not too bad me thinks! definately glad im sticking to 205/45 just wouldnt look right otherways! thanks for the help and advice!
  10. Thanks for the offer but think ill get new probable end up with the toyos think im gonna stick to 205/45 tho just cos they look fat!
  11. hey there i wondered if you could help me a bit, im looking for some small improvements to my fantastic lupo gti without upsetting the resale value! its lowered and tinted already so cant start going mad, was thinking about some sort of ecu chip and a top notch air filter i know these are minor improvements but wondered if theyre worth the 600 they'l probably cost? Will i c much power improvement? is there any truth in safely raising the rev limit? How does the engine sound after moddifing the standard air box? any help much appreciated Michael
  12. My lupo has 205/45/15 on them which i beleive is standard, need two new front tyres and all i can get is dunlop at 90 quid each! The tyre shop are reccomending i put 195/50/15 on there but im worried these will look odd in comparison to the back tyres?
  13. What a touch that things been winding me up for months thank you!
  14. Yeah that would be my friend thinking he's a gangster lol I'm really happy with it, its a good car. I've lost a towing eye cover tho, where's best to pick up one of them? Future mods to include tinted windows and possibly some sort of upgrade on the speakers!
