  11. Just need the part number for A lupo Gti throttle body! or if anyone has one for sale??? 2001 thank you much
  12. Thanks for that Casper/Defcon. Sorry about the late reply i got called back to work. yeah defcon i took it off and gave it a clean. still no change. looked more into the error codes today 17553 - Air mass measures - G70 short-circuit after pulses 17590 - Angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive -G188 signal too small 17952 - Angle sensors for butterfly valve drive -G187 signal too largely 17966 - Butterfly valve drive - g186 of electrical errors in circuit Right so this all points toward the throttle body. but i dont want to shell out £420 for a new TB when it may be the plug or the wiring harness itself. any way of getting this checked without haveing to get my car transported 18 mile to my nearest VW dealer/Specialist?
  13. well my car has been giving me grief for a while. EPC light came on and limited my revs to 3000 rpm. i had a guy come round with VAG-COM and these are the codes that came up; 16500 - CTS (Coolant Temp Sensor. Easy fix) 16554 - Bank 1 Fuel System 17584 - Lambda Error (pretty sure thats because of my De-Cat) 16955 - Break Light Swicth (Easy Fix) 17966 - Throttle Valve Drive 17580 - Throttle Angle Sender 2 17952 - Throttle Angle Sender 17553 - Throttle Angle Sender just wondering if the Fuel System and Throttle errors ahve came up for anyone before and what are the fixes for it. any help would be much appreciated

  16. Time for another hijack! EPC has been on and off since the day i bought the car but the brake lights always work. about a month ago i drove to work in heavy rain, the car decided 20 mins form work to drop power. turned her on then off then she worked. took ehr to a VW specialist and the couldnt find anything wrong? 50 quid down. shes been driving fine for a month now but my car now for some reason, has decided to limit me to 2000rpm again. been like this for days. initially i thought it must be because of the wet weather, but now the weather is fine and car is still griefing me. even troubling to start up. the EPC light drops on and off quickly and the revs change in my car. i took my air filter off looked into the throttle body and the butterfly valve is just staying shut even when i rev? im fed up now! been three days! yesterday after sitting revving the epc light went off and it revved. i drove it for about 5 mins then the power loss again. im going to buy som electra clean. see if the ****er will work for me anyone else suffered this bad form the issue?
