Its not worth doing. my lupo sport has got a chip and it has only gained 4bhp.. it dont feel any diffrent style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> But i didnt pay for it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I think it will. Mine is only a sport so it doesnt have a rear spoiler. The wiper blade only just misses the paint work at the top of the screen style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Every lupo i have driven does it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> I have a cure for that problem style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":surprise:" border="0" alt="surprise.gif" /> I have fitted a wiper arm and blade off a mk5 golf as it has a new style of blade that doesnt make a sound and removes the water much better style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I can get part numbers and price if anyone is intrested.

I have the same interia and i use vanish power spray on mine then use a damp cloth 2 wipe it with. It works great and even gets oily marks out style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

IM not 2 sure on what makes the 2 engines so diffrent but im guessing its going 2 b ECU related. Maby diffrent turbo. My golf 5 race car has 360Nm of torque and we change the drive shafts every 2 or 3 race meetings! The torque (and curb hopping followed by hard landings!) wear them out quick. Varible vane turbo have quick responce at low engine speeds which is key in diesels! Reduces back pressure in the exhaust and part throttle range. This improves `bottom-end` torque and better fuel consumption. Im at work skiveing dont tell any one :wink: Think i will clean polish my car style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

GSG boxes r only on real high spec VW like golf 5, phaetons and tourags. There a pain when they go wrong 2 style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

The gearbox isnt a DSG unit. Its an electronic manual gearbox. Its derived from the manual gearbox 085, and gearshifts are performed automatically :?

Hello. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> IM luke and i work 4 Volkswagen Racing UK and the proud owner of a lupo 1.4 sport. I know a bit about the 3L, IT WEIGHS ONLY 830KG! Which is 150kg less than an SDI. Thin glass windows, doors, wings and bonnet made of ally. tailgate is both ally and magnesium,Diffrent shape tail gate,rear bumper has intergrated diffusor, 10mm lower tha SDI, closed radiator grille, side skirts with special air deflectors. The engine is a 1.2 `3-cylinder` diesel with turbo and charge air cooler. gear box is an auto. Hello, I am Luke and met some of you a few weeks ago (23 May) up the Milton Keynes Cruise and I thought I should show my face. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> To jog your memories I have a Lupo 1.4 Sport on a W plate in soft blue. Sorry I took so long to reply I have been busy building and repairing lots of VW race cars (unfortunately we do NOT have a Lupo race car :-() Plus I do not have the internet at home - I am on my girlfriends computer (I am typing -girlfriend - Emma) see you all around!
