  1. Have you thort of "flocking" the dash mate. If you want to know more just PM me mate. Looks rearly good, use it in our race cars, only problem is that you have to remove the dash style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Safe with airbags aswell style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  2. Looks rearly good mate, likeing the wheels style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  3. Vw,s are the better of the two style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Must say that Seat are building some nice cars now, the only decent Seat was the Arosa and the leon Cupra R, but the new leon and Altea are both cracking cars style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  4. I thort it wauld have been an easy job and take a couple of hours at the most. I cauld not have been more wrong style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> First main job after removeing the trim is to remove the steering colum, but to my horror the colum is held on by two shear bolts which took ages to remove with a cold punch and they were extreamly tight. Once they were off and the colum removed the worse was yet to come, with all the nuts and bolts and the clutch cable removed it was left to seperate the brake pedal from the servo plunger. There is a solid white clip that holds the ball of the plunger into the pedal. We tryed for what seamed like hours to remove the clip without trying to break it but in the end anger and impatience saw me yank the pedal and shater the clip, phone the local dealer to see if the had one but I was out of luck, I was lucky to find one laying round in my workshop of a race car im am building so i have borrowed it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> and got it fitted. There is f"^k all room behind a lupo dash to move let alone remove and refit a pedal box and spent ages trying to reline the servo bolts through the pedal box. It took nearly allday (and many cuts on my hands) but it was worth it now i can change gear smothly and the clutch pedal is now light as a feather. Its not one to do at home and dont ask me to change any more style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  5. Carbon fiber is more expensine, Ally panels will fit better, but i do agree with Tigz that if you do fit carbon panels why paint them.
  6. There is a R32 around MK with the reg plate " R32 WOO" thats a cool plate. Got my plate on the car now, Had to wait ages at the DVLA offices to get seen but well worth it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  7. Yea i will go now my car will be fixed, as long as its a weekend. I take it will be the same place style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  8. I think they look very good unpainted but some ive seen (not just lupos) dont seem to fit very well as they have no flex in them. As for the weight loss you wauld be suprised how much weight carbonfiber bodywork can take off a car style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  9. Its best to change the full set, Have you got the red ht leads on your engine? They look style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> but does anyone know if they are a performance improvement over the standard black ones or is it just cosmetic?
  10. I like my rubstrips, they look so much beter if there the same colour as the car. On most new VW,s if you remove the rubstrips you will find locating holes on the body work so you wauld have to get the filler out style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  11. I like the Cupra R wheels mate style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Wauldnt mind the car they come on as standard either style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  12. Not sure how much they cost mate but you wiil probably have to buy a set, which IMO is a trouble free way of doing it, if one lead is broken how long before the rest go style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  13. Last time i was up there i was shocked to see about 10-15 lupos up there and thats how i became a clublupo member style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

  17. If ther was a fault with the engine electrics the warning light wauld come on and stay on. Sure it wasnt your battery light that was flickering? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Have you put fuel in it today. That happoned to my clio and it turned out to be dodgy fuel style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry2:" border="0" alt="angry.gif" />

  23. Got the pedal box for £26 from my local dealer and its allready down my local fabby mate. Its very poor that vw have known about this for ages and not done any thing about it. It affects the polo and same era ibiza and caddy van aswell aparantly style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
  24. Its called Thumper now for sure style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Your as bad as me when it comes to cleaning your wheels style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  25. People you were all right. It is defently my pedal box thats broken. One of the spot welds is completly broken away, and the other one is almost gone! Guess i will be sending my clutch kit back then style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Thanks for all your advise guys and girls, your all heroes in my eyes style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
