sound, cheers for that but doesnt look like ill need to do that now as its not loosing time atall now :? Another prob the radio is loosing its presets thouhght it wasnt (not my car) but i think that because some monkey has wired it incorectly theres a perm live (yellow) going into a live (red) and vice versa, ive changed them around which kinda helped . whats happening is its staying on without the key in the igntion and my mum has left the front of the radio on for nearly a week which has drainned the batt so would like to rewire it so that when the key is outta of the ignition the radio turns off. at the mo `yell-red`, `red-yellow` the stereo works with no key so i changed it to `yell-yell`, `red-red` and now the stereo buttons light up when the key is out of the igntion but will not work. the stereo isnt a vw one alpine one fitted by previous owner, i have noticed that theres a live wire going somewhere not sure where must be to the fuse box or the board, whats it called :roll: anyone any ideas about this style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

rub all over the bonnet/ area that you wanna do. another thing to do is before you clay wash using fairy liquid that will strip that wax as you said clay will do it aswell but be easier with fairy

warranty has ran out and the odometer does stay on no radio is fine doesnt loose presets

cheer snoop, that will make life allot easier do you know any breakers that have lupos? and when you say early you mean 99? tdwindustries, im a Golf person dont know nothing about lupos but i assume there the same. the spolier is held on by screws that go through the glass so you wanna know the p number for the covers for the screws? *edit* or do you mean the bumper cos ive just looked and it doesnt show covers for the screws for the spolier just the spoiler, sleeves which go into the spoiler and screws

ah thats a good point hes gonna have a hunt around for some smaller ones. do you know if the vw ones are offset somehow? also any idea wheather some of the loom is in a e sdi so that i can get vw c/l might be easier is all im thinking if nothing can be found thatll fit

Hi all first post style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> someone came today to fit remote c/l but said that he couldnt do it because there wasnt enough space behind to door panel. i asume that all the door trim is the same on all models? (GTI's dont have bigger door cards) so does anyone know someone that sells kits to do this its to fit an e sdi cheers
