i got this problem aswell, jus bought my new head unit had it delivered 2day! but ive currently got the radio with the tape player and a separate cd player underneath. was wonderin how to cover the extra hole...

the backlight on my dashboard that lights the speedometer and rev counter and the light on my stereo have gone, but the stereos still working. Thinkin it might b a fuse thats blown, not sure, however if it is a fuse i havent got the foggiest which 1 it is, i removed all the fuses that looked like they had summin 2 do with the lights according to the crappy diagrams on the fuse box cover but they all seemed to be fine, cant b bothered 2 take it 2 the garage far 2 much hassle, any ideas? cheers

Considering lowering my lupo 1.4 sport 60mm, just using springs as i cant afford to upgrade shocks or coilovers. Currently got 15's on running 195/45/15, am i gona cum into any problems doin this?

wots the best full induction kit worth buying for the 1.4 sport?

well my mate got a set for the gti that drop it 40mm, pi springs, they sell them at r-tec or on www.r-tec.com for about £95.... and i dont think they differ from the other models either cos i was gona buy the same springs for my 1.4 sport.

is it possible to get 60mm lowering springs for a lupo because ive only been able to find them for 40mm, and i cant afford coilovers.

cheers lads, im gona have to have a new door skin put on, i know there aint no cctv around where i parked, screwing! and ive asked around college but noone saw anything. talk about bad weeks, my bro crashed his car on wednesday, into a parked car that he wrote off, and damaged 2 other cars. His cars gettin fixed but now im his taxi service!!!!!!!!!!! And 2 of my mates went into the back of people aswell!

Thursday 15th September: Left my beloved lupo outside college for all of an hour, came back and found some mug had reversed into it and left a dent the side of my hand the passenger side door and driven off.... obviously pissed off, i thought it was just cosmetic damaged, bit of panel beating, £50 poorer and id be happy again. Took it to the body shop yesterday, the muppets only gone and completely destroyed the bars inside the door, the door panel is about as flimsy as a piece of paper. Gona cost £400 to fix. Im a student, i aint got that sort of money and theres no point going through insurance because my excess is £320... I feel like crying.

i was lookin at the tsw ones aswell, was thinkin that i mite get a set with a silver lip and black inside, well we'll see. i love my lupo sport aswell mate, had it 2 weeks, yet ive already managed to blow the clutch! think i either got a bit carried away or it wos dodgy when i bought it.

Seen them on a couple of websites, cheapest is £460 but i duno if they come with tyres, dont think they do. Gona do a bit more searching, im still not convinced theyre the right ones, need 2 see what they look like on the car first.

i want a simple/subtle look, not anything too lairy, not really into the euro styling either, however would consider deep dish. My first idea was to put on a set of the audi rs4 replica wheels the smallest they come in is 16's which isnt a problem but i think they only come in 5 stud. I want something different, which is why i bought a lupo, but without it looking tacky.

where would a VW cd changer be located in a lupo, ive got the standard stereo fitted with a cassette player and the cd player underneath it. Theres a button on my cd player which switches between the cd player and cd changer, was jus wondering if its on all VW cd players.

Proud new owner of a black 1.4 Sport, loving it. lookin to get a lupo sport, goin to look at one on thursday and hopefully get it in 2 weeks when i get bck from holiday. like it standard however im feeling the need to put some rims on it straight away. lookin to put 16" audi rs4 replicas. Problem is the package comes with 205/55/16 tyres and i know there too big, especially as i want to drop it too. Was jus wondering whether it would be possible to put 195/45/16 wheels on instead or whether it would be too much money and effort to change the tyres, or to jus find sum different rims, maybe 15", as im still as student and on a budget. any other suggestions on alloys???
