think im experiencing the same noise on my 03 sport. cant pin point where its coming from but it sounds like some sort of animal lol and it just comes on randomly. usually around 70ish tho??

ive driven both mate as i was also considering buying both. i drove a 1.4 sport first which i wasnt impressed at all with, seemed gutless. this made me consider the tdi. bearing in mind its only a 3 cylinder it has a nice wee punch of torque which chipped would be even better! even though it was a high miler dog it still pulled quite well. i then test drove another 1.4 sport which was like night and day between the other sport id driven. i came to the conclusion the first sport id driven had been ragged sensless and there was something wrong with it. i went ahead and bought the second 1.4 sport i drove and am very happy with it. so the best thing to do really is go and test drive both and make your own mind up, but make sure its a good healthy example and hasnt been thrashed silly! Anyone got descent pics of a lupo slammed on AP coilovers. In the ad they say 30-60mm im planning on buying some soon and was swaying towards the janspeed ones mentioned above but if the AP's go low enough id prob spend the extra and get them! Grant

Unfortunately for me i live in Scotland mate but thanks for the offer! Ive spoken to the two vw dealers in my area and they both gave me totally different prices to prog 2 keys up. One dealership quoted around £70 for each key then around £50 for programming them in. The other dealership was over £100 just to programme keys in if i got keys myself?? Pretty rediculous if you ask me! Ive tried a few locksmith/key cutting places to see if they can cut the newer vw keys used on the lupo and so far no-one has the facillities to cut that type of key?? Hi guys. Just bought an 03 lupo sport which has only came with one key. I need at least another key but im aware that it has a chipped key which will have to be programmed to work with the immobiliser. What i want to know is, if i get a blank key with a new chip and get the key cut, can i programme the new key up using the vag com programme?? Thanks in advance! Grant

Hi can anyone tell me if all sports came from the factory with black bottom halfs of the bumpers or did some come colour coded or was it an optional extra? cheers Grant

had a look on wise buyers website and they quote less for a 03 lupo than parkers. they seem an awful lot of money for what they are going buy the prices people advertise them for but i suppose i'l just have to sit tight and wait fpr the right one to come up. mibbie the credit crunch will work in my favour in time to come lol. grant

Hi guys im new on here, im on the look out for a wee lupo sport but i cant get over what people seem to be advertising them for. According to parkers online a 2003 in good condition with milage of around 50 000 should be worth £2725ish. Or a 2000/2001 with say 70 000 should fetch around 1700-1800 which sounds about right to me but looking in the for sale section on here people are asking a fair bit more?? Ideally id like to pend 2000 tops but everything seems waay out of my price range? Opinions please! Grant
