Ooh, goody! Wot a `rip-off` the Dunlop ones are! The cheapest around was over £200 inc VAT for 2! I would have felt alot better if it was for something worthwhile...but suppose you can't drive round on slicks for too long!!!

The golf is my old car, sold it to my boyf when I got the lupo. He's had a turbo technics kit on it but now fancies putting a G60 charger on it instead! Some people are never satistfied!!! Yeah I love the green colour too, it's in great condition. Am gonna get another one in the future I think, when I have more money!!!

There was a lupo and a yellow arosa there last night - was that you poobah? I would have come over to say hello but I didn't see any clublupo stickers plus there was quite a big group of you so I came over all shy! :oops: Got stuck in traffic on the way then took "the scenic route" so got there quite late! Oh well. T'was ok in the end!

BTW I understand they had to take it out first to listen for rattles and then again to see if they'd fixed it (must be deaf too!!) but think that it was a bit excessive mileage for that - just think some people can take the p**s with other people's property sometimes!! Just wish I'd passed it bombing down the bypass at 120!!!!

Took my car in to the local dealer yeasterday to get my 4 rattles sorted out (well done guys you managed to fix 1!). My boyf gets trade discount on parts cos he's in there so often for bits for his car and he'd gone in my car one particular day. Anyway, all the guys from the workshop came out to have a gander and were saying how they hadn't had a gti in before, etc etc. Knowing this, I was a bit worried that (a) there would be a bit of test pilot syndrome going when I took it in and ( style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> they wouldn't have a butcher's about my car. Both were confirmed when I picked it up - I reset the clock when I took it in........... picked it up and it had done 15 miles. 15 miles?! Wot for? I also noted that they had managed to use about an eigth of a tank too so it wasn't steady driving. I took it back and asked why this was to a `red-faced` receptionist, only to be patronised. Excellent!! Is it just me being a general `stress-head` or would that annoy other people?!!
