I purchased an Lupo X reg 1.0 took it to VW dealer for a Major service to get a complete inspection and everything checked out, Tehnician found that my coil overs are weeping, but VW dealer wants £776 for replacing them, I'm thinking I could find an cheaper alternative, I was wondering would these be a good fit http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-LUPO-SEAT-AROSA-COILOVER-KIT-/221642797499?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item339af0b1bb any other recommendations ?

What is a good rpm range to be at for 1.0E then my Lupo sits quietly at 700/800rpm idle is that ok ?

Anyone got one ? For a reasonable price ?

My gearbox sometimes pops out of 4th gear, issue stops if I depress the couch and put it bac in there though, reverse gear seems hard to stick in to as well, it seems that the gearbox is fine and it just me at the moment, but I wouldn't like to risk a large sum of cash, would it make sense to swap(upgrade bearings and change oil and seals in the gearbox before it fails?) would that prevent it from happening ? I drive an 2000 1.0 E with 49k on clock

Hi Guys, I have gotten myself a Lupo 1.0 SE, I would like to install an aftermarket rims, withouth changing ride quality. What size rims would I be looking for ? Sorry if the question seems noobish(it is my first car, only riden bikes before) Thinking to get BBS RS style rims, but without changing wheel arches or lowering the car. It does have alloys at the moment on it already, but they are quite scuffed, would it be rather more cost effective and efficient to repair them ?
