  3. Hello. I have been thinking about making a louder sound to my Lupo. I have for a laugh taken off my back box to see how it sounds but I have seen a midpipe delete tube. my question is would a midpipe delete with a back box be quieter than a midpipe with a back box. as I don't want it to loud. james

  16. Hello. Sorry for two posts but makes it far easier to split the topics. so i wanted to paint my rocker cover the other day but realised that it is actually a cam carrier i.e the cams are in the heads so therefore you cant remove it without removing the cam belts etc and thus needing to do the timing (not something i trust myself with, scares the hell out of me) ((typical vw making things difficult than they need to be)) but i still want to paint it, so is there a way i can leave it on and still do a good job?? any tips/advice?? has any one done it before. or any other suggestions. my worries were prepping it while it was on the car etc Many thanks james
  17. Hello all. I have some questions regarding strut braces. I am defiantly going to fit one just i am a little stumped. for the front: i have found two but i was wondering if this one would fir my 1.4 16V? has any one tried http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391141712982?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and then this one which says only sdi models but what are the differences?? will it fit or can i make it fit? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270601446669?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and then the Rear this will fit i believe but how do you fit it as i had a look and i can see and struts in the boot. so how exactly do i fit it?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301731527392?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT any help is appreciated. or if any one have some that may fit please feel free to post. or if any one is selling one second hand please pm me. thanks a lot james

  21. hello. from what i can see i cant see any holes etc but yet haven't checked for any leaks, my car has its mot next month so i suppose we will see if it comes up. if not i will check my self when i get the time, although the pop does sound to be at the back of the car (but that doesn't mean any thing i know) james
  22. Hello all. The other day i noticed when i was parked on my drive and i was just giving my Lupo a little throttle just because i was waiting around and i do that for some strange reason... don't ask ha ha. and this time the door was open and i noticed a popping noise coming from my exhaust so i got out and pressed the throttle with my hand and i could defiantly notice it, its faint but i can hear it, then i stood round the back while a friend blipped the throttle and its coming from my back-box for sure, is this a Lupo thing or have i got a blow? Personally i love the sound of exhaust pop so its no problem to me but i was wondering if it was a Lupo thing or not. if i can get a video i will. if it is just a Lupo thing then how can i make it a bit louder on the pop so i can hear it when driving as i love the sound personally. BTW its the 1.4 16v 75HP thanks james
  23. yes i am going to do that soon. i will let you know on my results when it happens james
  24. ok no problem, just for comparison for a year i'm on black box because it is £1100 for me and when i'm 18 i'm going off black box, but good luck with your Lupo, you wont be disappointed. No problem james
