Hi Gaz bought this car from me, i sold it to buy a TT but god did i miss it! Best car ive ever owned! if i had the money it would be sitting in my drive! Darren

This has happened to me twice in just under two years, the best way around it is to buy a new handle £6 and the mech that it clips onto £4 (bought from main vw dealer) and just replace it, it is a bit of a pain and slightly fiddly but i think the cause is the cable itself may have seized up a bit causing the teeth on the handle and mech to give way. According to my uncle (porsche,ferrari, lamborghini Specialist) it wouldnt be a hard job running a new cable, hope this helps

Just to say this happened to me, my horn stopped working but to be fair i hadent even noticed the headlight washers werent working. So come MOT time i needed to sort the horn. After about 1 hour of messing about with the horn itself, the fuses relays etc it turns out it was the headlight washer fuse, they both run from the same place so they both went when the headlight washer fuse went. hope this is of help to any1 in the future

darrenwood is my 360 gamer tag if anyone wants to add me bash on. its better getting ppl on this side of the water (some ppl can take it a tad seriously) Aint got a PS3 but the 360 is amazing (when it is'nt on fire or red lights all round)
