  1. First things first - stay away from any garage that diagnoses a fault by replacing part after part, they are just guessing & you are paying for parts you don't need!
  2. Thanks, I'll have a look. But how would that cause a lambda circuit fault code?
  3. Ok, so replying to my own post here; Spark plugs ok. HT lead resistance good. No sign of any coil pack damage & EGR valve cleaned. All just in case. Guess I need to start tracing that wiring loom back!
  4. Hi guys - any advice welcome here. As the title says, only does when cold. Scanner came up with front lambda fault which i then replaced with a known good genuine VW item. Car now runs better but engine light comes straight back on each time its turned off. It now shows a slightly different code to do with front lambda circuit? Are there any know places where the wiring loom has problems? Or maybe the ECU? Cheers
