Does anyone know how to remove the connectors from the plug? Dont wan't to pull to hard and snap the plug

I haven't no, it was brand new from vw so i assumed it would work. Do they come with bulbs in brand new?

I have checked the fuse and its not that, any other ideas what it could be?

I will check that in the morning, i didnt think there was a seperate fuse but thanks

Sorry to bring up a seriously old thread! But when i got my lupo the High Level Brake Light did not work and i already knew why so i got a new light and a new plug, i joined the new plug to the existing wires but for some reason the light still doesn't work. Any idea what else could be causing it? Thanks

Yeah they come up well mate, i used 000 grade wire wool and some autosol and they came up lovely. The Lupo is back on the road at last! What a car it is, i am in love!

After almost 3 weeks of not having the Lupo, it should be back on the road later today. At last!

Does the engine have to be on for the brake lights to work? As mine don't work with the ignition on. Lupo GTi by the way Thanks

Im in the same situation, engine is getting fitted saturday! Itching to drive it:)

Also cleaned my exhaust tips up as they were horrendous, a few pictures. Left - Cleaned Both cleaned

The Leon Cupra R splitter looks smart and normally most people choice

But how come the other side works, there isn't a seperate fuse is there?

The other side works fine, there wouldn't be a separate fuse for each side would there?

I am putting the polo engine in my lupo, will it still not fit?

Does anyone know if a polo gti engine will fit my lupo 6 speed gearbox? As i have heard the bellhousings are different. Thanks
