Hi i am just making an enquirery about car tuning chips as i was thinking about getting the car done. If i had a completely standard car and then baiught one of the chips or had the ecu remapped, then after changed the exhaust and such things. To gain the advantages of the car with all the new modifications, Does the car need to be chipped again after, or do you just plug the same stuff in again or should it all do automatically or what ^^ sorry its a confusing question but im a novice at this sort of thing. Hi there please help i asked admiral this question and they said its from the second date and then i recieved an email from DVLA to say that its the first date.. basically when doign any quote for car insurance they ask if you ahve a full uk licence and how long you ahve held that liscence... Well i did my motorcycle test and passed in january 2012, so in my eyes thats when my liscence was updated to a full liscence. Then in 2013 in january i did my car test and then my liscence was sent off and updated?.. well the only obtions they give you when doing insurance qutoes is uk full or uk provision and how long you held it.. Well in my eyes Ive had a uk full liscence since january 2012 as thats when My liscence went pink and i would class my paper liscence as a full licence. So if any1 knows about this please help a the different in insurance between saying ive had a liscence for over a year and for 4 moths is almost doubled.. so dvla send a message saying its from the first date so i assume its from the motorcycle date but Admiral said different :S Please help thank you

I have a x Reg 1.0 jazz blue lupo, small ding and scratch at back of driver side wheel arch, has water leak which we believe is a water pump. The starter motor sticks sometimes but still starts. Aso Catalystic converter has blown(those are bad points) It does have new alternator and track rod ends, New wheel bearings, It has ronal turbo r10 15 inch alloys with some curbing on each wheel otherwise good shape( had 2 new front tires put on and had rear 2 have lots of tread left). It comes with recaro reclinable bucket seats and KW coil overs. Done 143,000 on clock, If any1 at all would be intereste just ask. in stroud ask for Pictures BTW.

Hi there Right well im after a bid of advice and a bit of help proving something... can someone please send me a picture or put up a picture of the right tie rod end and the left tie rod end and explain which 1 is which... This is because i asked a auto parts place to give me a drivers side 1... n they sent me a left 1 i think but there saying the ones on my lupo are on wrong... Also could some1 tell me if it makes a difference if they are on the wrong way round eg putting hte right on left side and the left on the right side... Is it a defo no no.. or is it like ok if u put it wrong on both sides.. not just putting 2 lefts on haha.. Lastly if it doesnt make much difference if they are both on wrong way round do u need to get tracking re done?? Thanks mike.

Hi my dads vauxhall vivaro 2.0 cdti has been going wrong and hes ordered some new glow plugs for it ... WHERE THE HELL DO THEY GO IN?!?! can some1 link me to a diiagram where i can see where the glow plugs go on this engine cus cant find em anywhere!!

Hi this is a random questiona nd ive only just noticed it on some cars and not on others but the trim thats on sides of the cars all the pics of the lupos i like dont have them and I'm jsut wondering do some of the cars come with them and some not or do you jsut remove them and get a flush finish or what?

Hi my alterantor on my 1.0 lupo died so ive got a new one but a broken bolt meant that i had to taek off more than just the alternator to get the plate that it attaches to apart so does any1 know of any diagrammes of the engine or just alternator install guide so that i can at least make sure everything is going back in correctly.

ill have a look cheers man, but aparently all electronics going wrong were down to a dodgy alterntaor haha, so new one ordered.

JoeA can i just ask if i cut the backbox off will that only effect its sound or will it change performance at all?

lol im jokin i dont drive it stupidly but just saying straight line speed isnt what the seats are for

haha They were in the car when i baught it rich haha and apparently they had to get new ones anhway because the dog chewed up old front seats haha, so they just decided to wack em in haha . but on the other hand.. bucket seats curve round you and stop you flying out the seat when cornering i thought.. so surely it has nothing to do with the powoer of your engine as i tend not to slow down for corners anyway haha but do correct me if im wrong there

Hi ive got my little 1.0e lupo and i really want to upgrade the exhaust, not neccessrily for a big perforamance boost but i at least want it to sound a bit better and not sound so much like a tractor haha. Are there any good for money or relatively cheap ful exhaust systems that are great for my car?
