Thanks guys, shafts had some re working got them back and on, new track rods and ends fitted, made up a new intake pipe for my map sensor and got it on its wheels. Sitting on small pads till i get the shallow sump on, hits when aired out. 1.8t standard pedal made to fit too.

Thought i better update the thread, conversion is 98% done 2 engines, alot of cutting, modding and swearing later. its been on the road and tested just few niggles to sort out then some more trick bits

Never made a lot of shows this year. Decided to pull it all apart again. Engine time

Made up a wee boot build, trimmed the side panels to match.

Got the car back, sills have still to be flattened and polished, rear bumper still to be done but hopefully all finished for next weekend

Ready for paint, few imperfections rectified and horrid stone chip removed

Cheers for all the comments, had its first drive in nearly 18months durin the week. In the paint shop getting some new touches and two sides repainted. Going in on sunday to help my mate flatten, polish and bring him home

Airlift installed and running. Bumpers back from paint, recess and washer jets smoothed

Some more progress got the v2 up and running with a new viair compressor. Boot isnt how i want it but will het round to it after ud. Started making the facia plate to house the screen, ready for some red nappa tommorow
