Is there much diffrence performance wise between the 5&6 speed versions of the GTi ?

Hello, Just bought a lupo gti style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> The standard stereo seems to have a seperate cassete and radio and another unit for cd, can i just take out the cassete unit and plug my Alpine head unit straight in or do i need to buy any adaptors ? Thanks in advance
