  1. Had another idea! Im at tight bistid so when VW offered to fit C/Locking n E/Windows I told them to kiss my hairy behind as I can get a kit for £110 for the lot.... just gotta fit it. Anybody done it before? If I can fit it before the 13th, I can remove the locks as well.
  2. aye I think so. Should be stronger than body filler. Just never done it before. Is it difficult to do? Im thinking bout doing the grove down the side as well.
  3. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Ive not had it tested as a new install is in the pipe line but it is loud. There is alot a vibrations on the body work, alot of this should be cured as i'll be sound proofing the car a lot better this time. But im still worried as I dont know anyone whos smoothed there bumpers with a powerfull system.

Leave the grill and insert black 3. Leave the grill black 4. Pa..... you get the picture. What do you all think? I know what Alan thinks but im not asking him, cos I dont want mine to look the same as his! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Oh ya shall I smooth the bumpers while im at it? Would the filler hold when my new system gets installed style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  6. Thanx Twisty. I'll have to see bout the wheels, Im gettin my mate to do me a `V-Mod` of my car with 17s with standard bumpers painted to what it'd be like, gonna get him to see if it'll look ok with my wheels an all

  8. Thanks Jon, I love that pic as well, I took the cd to Asda and got a couple printed, and thats the one I had blown up and up on my wall at work. Your right about the bumpers, I think I might get a kit, im still thinking about getting that bubble arch kit. Oh and by the way anyone, im thinking about selling my wheels. Im thinking bout 17's style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Sorry Alan, but the small wheel look I thought I liked doesnt do it for me no more. After seeing Darrens, I cant stop thinking about them. The G/friend will probably leave me if I do, but im convinced the world would be a better place if my Lup' had 17's
  9. :0 So your gonna loose ya Audi wiper style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

  11. Went for a drive today, and took the digi cam and took some proppa pics. Looking at them idf say I defenatly need to do some thing with the bumpers border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />

  13. The British way style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> http://www.moddedcars.com/`cgi-bin`....1;st=70
  14. I disagree. I do like some things the europians do...(they did build the Lupo)....but I dont think we should copy them. I think we should mod our own way...the British way style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  15. Do we think Alan likes deep dish? ???
  16. My springs have arrived and cant be arsed to wait untill Saturday for them to be fitted, so thought I might do it myself tonight. I phoned VW to find how much I need to torque the nuts up and they have said thy're not allowed to give out technical information. Does anyone know what it should be?
  17. QUOTE(Alan VW)drop it some where between 50/60mm all round what with coil overs? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  18. I didnt hear it opened up, but it had a nice low rumble at tick over and loaded deep at low revs, ya know the deep rumble, not that farty noise. sounded really well. as i said the best Ive seen.
  19. You wanna see it mate, even the girlfriend never shut up bout it afterwards. Best looking exhaust ive seen. For Lupo or otherwise.
  20. Yes defenatly, the amout of people there you get some right attention. Just a shame I was the only Lup' there style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  21. Never heard of them but if id not got my Fox's id look into these border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  22. Thanks mate. since adding this topic ive found a cable missing from the negative connection to the second coil. Thats why its been sounding ***** lately. Im gonna get a real good quality duel coil `10-incher` and new high powered 2 channel amp. Sell my 6x9's (only been in my car 2 weeks anyone style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> ) and buy some quality componants for the front and use my standard fronts in the rear. All run off my ALpine amp I have now (chears Loud Lupo) Do you think this would work..... Im gonna pull out my spare rim and get a can of tyre foam. then make a false floor and put my sub over the wheel well. A amp built in on ether side of the sub. Would this work or is it a worse idea than my all in one bass box disater (see readers rides :sarc: ) What should I do just cover the boot floor in dinamat?
  23. Right I really need some help people. Ive got a Alpine CDA7893R MP3 player with Bass Engine Plus and 4x60w channels. At the moment it is only running the standard front speakers, but im going to connect my Kenwood 6x9's to this as well to free up channel 1 + 2 of my Alpine `MRV-F405` Pro 50w per channel amp. Channel 3 + 4 are bridged to run the 10inch dual coil JL Punch 1000w sub which is capable of running 4ohm. The head unit is powerful enough to run the front and rear speakers, and as the sub is only getting a bridged power output of 100w is it possable to use all 4 channels for the sub? 2 channels bridged for each coil?
  24. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> Thats what iv pulled off auto route, might change it yet as theres a lot of motorways there, but you get the idea
