They are 16cm (6") front and back mate. Adapters can be bought from the likes of Halfords/Motorworld that will let you fit 17cm (6.5") but auto leads have non in stock, and have given no date when they will start production. What I did was take off the plastic grill from the door card, cut the plastic ring from the card, then useing flashing tape and dynomatt extream stiffened the door card up so there was a solid mounting point to drill and bolt the 17cm speakers do the door cards themself. Sounds alot better as the speaker cone is on the outside of the doorcard, not on the inside wasteing the energy.

It woulb be possable but there not many about, so it'd be expencive. Tuning them is expencive and you still have all the extra work you would with a 1.8 ie. relocating battory etc. The best cheap option would be a 1.4 16v 100bhp engine as theres loads about. Could probably get aroud 170bhp from that engine for a couple of grand, and it'd bolt straight in. Only thing is (as Clifford pointed out to me) once its at 170 thats the maxium I could ever get. a 20v would give me that sort of power before I even tuned it!

Max came up to see me last night and fetched his new amp, and we wired it up to my sub. My bass amp is 600wrms @ 4ohm, his is 1400wrms @ 4ohm! we only had the gain up 1/4 and it was fantastic, we was really scared of blowing my sub, and damageng the amp as my alternator isn't strong enough to power it! I want a new amp! lol
