  1. I got 48bhp extra (£150) on my first remap with standard eveything else on my Volvo V70 R awd. 2.3. . . Then a further 24bhp when i added bigger downpipe, injectors MBC. Theres NO WAY i would of spent more that £100 or so to get 4-5bhp in my 1L arosa. But hearing how it makes the drive much nicer i could be persued, it would be nice if it shifted a little more when needed. P.S its a driving tuition car
  2. You'd only have them kurbing it if you arent very good at your job. Ive had it a month and done 1500miles and the wheels are still spotless. None of my previous cars have had signs of wheel damage, just a little outter tyre wall branding being rubbed off. I was hoping it wasnt the tyre size..... i guess i will have to run these tyres for a while and then go for a lower profile next and just cope with the odd rub on the back. Thanks for the feed back
  3. I think they are 7in wide. . . . and 38 offset. So all with in the recommended sizes etc
  4. Hi all, ive joined the forum today. I recently bought a 53plate 1.0 s Arosa, metallic grey 35k , 1 lady owner full seat service history for £1800 which i thought was complete bargin. Ive invested in a blow over spray and removed all scratches , dents etc. Ive put some 15in Dare rims with gold nipple on it to give it a nice touch along with my company details over it in crome/silver/black . Im enjoing teaching in it as the visibilty all round is awesome and the car is Sooo forgiving to drive. The one thing im still to do is lower it...... Im just abit concerned as im on standard supspention with 195,55,15's on and i get a nice rub on back wheels when i go over bumps..... Im hoping putting some stiffer 40mm springs that will lower the car enough but be stiff enough to stop the car bounciing around over uneven road etc. Some advice from you guys on what/how to best go about doing this would be awesome. Thanks Dan p.s i did have the VW up White ordered, due to arrive mid August. But was informed 3 weeks ago it wont arrive until October due to high demand . So i pulled out of the order and bought an arosa instead.
