  1. I'm not tbh, i'm still on the original set i bought it with Mk3 Golf Steelies 14x6j
  2. Thanks mate, i put abit more effort into cleaning it now haha. Yeah hopefully the vinyl should work well As for the lowering, i have to agree with koop.. it looks awesome Tbh i fitted the camber as an experiment, and because i never had toe-in issues i never got round to taking it off. Once my wheels are on and some spacers fitted it should more sense haha But glad you like the smooth bits.. and the co-pilot haha
  3. Haha yeah not one of my best buys off ebay Thanks alot mate
  4. Soo got benji back from the body shop and it seems all this happened while he was there .. Up next is a good clean and get my wheels sorted. Thanks, Tyler
  5. Love how low this is.. Static FTW!!
  6. This is one tidy car mate.. also i'm from halesowen, not too far from you
  7. Not alot to report tbh.. benji's still in the body shop, but with this immense amount of snow i dont think ill be getting him back anytime soon On another note, i got a new co-driver 'enter darth vader sound effects here' Tyler
  8. Neither am i haha, but nah i dont think its too far tbf
  9. Thanks alot bud Oh yeah, i think i got a good idea of where abouts that is
  10. Today i had a delivery of a couple goodies.. First is a sheet of carbon fibre vinyl.. Which ill use to cover my door pillars, heater vents, and whatever else i find that i can cover Next.. Seen as its a new year, i thought id make more of an effort when it comes to cleaning benji.. so i picked up a few supplies to start me off. On another note, i took some photos in the snow.. Also benji is taking a trip to the bodyshop tomorrow as he's due some repair caused on a recent trip to the garage, so i thought this would be a valid excuse to have my front bumper smoothed at the same time More updates and pictures once he's back.. watch this space
  11. Thanks bud, hopefully they'll be ready to go on soon Where abouts in Stourbridge are you? i'm sure i've seen you around
  12. So again i have left it ages to update, but i am back and so is benji.. Speaking of which has not been up to alot over the christmas period, although i did have a tinker with some camber on the rear wheels which has turned out pretty tbf... Also some biggish news.. I bought some new wheels!! They're Mk3 Golf steel wheels, or as i've seen 'Baby G60's'. They look abit rough, but under all the dirt they're pretty sound... After a good refurb and some stretched tyres (only slightly though) they should look pretty tidy on benji. I've also got a few ideas for the coming year, as i'd like to attend my first show this year.. - Front and rear spacers - Shorter rear springs - Smooth front bumper - Fog light grill One last thing.. is anyone from around Halesowen or around Birmingham? Thanks
  13. Don't worry Koop, I lined it back up a couple weeks back Although I have to admit it looked pretty cool, even though it was just on the one side
  14. Another quick update.. Found some more pictures on my laptop so here they are.. Found another lupo at the police station With my mates fez So true And here's a couple pictures i took the other day of how the interior currently looks at the garage.. Hopefully more updates soon.. Tyler
  15. Just a quick update sen as i haven't been on here for ages Over the last couple of months the lupo has been in and out of the garage with reoccurring clutch issues, but now the only choice left was to replace the pedal box after discovering that a bracket had broken off and welded back on n the wrong place. Apart from this, nothing else has been done to the lupo.. But i do have spacers and maybe a little camber in mind, but more on that later on More updates and pictures soon, gonna try and get back into this abit more
  16. Haha really.. To be fair mine are heading the same way, I would take them off but I love how it looks with them. Thanks bud, I was thinking spacers aswell but i'm gonna wait till I get some new wheels before i get into spacers. Thank you very much
  17. First off sorry about posting it 3 times, i'm not quite sure myself how it happened though. Also thanks for your feedback.. Oh, i also lowered it Have to admit i love how low it sits, can go a bit lower but i don't want to ruin the mudflaps. next thing on my list is a set of wheels, i'm aiming for a set of 13's so maybe banded steelies or maybe even some starmags. Cheers
  18. Hey guys, Just thought id introduce my new lupo.. Its a 2001 1.0L, with 42000 miles on the clock. Just gotta get it a name now Learnt alot from my first effort, so hopefully should have some better luck with this one. Ill update with some more pictures and possibly a to-do list soon Cheers
  19. sooo some bad news, i managed to miss a speedbump and hit it at speed and anyone with a lowered car knows thats not good haha. so unfortunatley the damage was me setting the airbags off and bending the passenger subframe back by 2 inches and the repair cost is way more than i can imagine to afford, plus the easier option was to start again with a new car. as you guys have guessed this means no more ludo, but i am goin to be breaking him for parts so if anyone needs anything, feel free to ask me.. bonnet, passenger wing, and front panel are all brand new.. only thing not for sale are the coilovers as i already have a new lupo for them to go straight onto. will be open to swaps aswell depending on what youve got.. heres some pictures of how he is currently sat and what is available... thanks for reading and feel free to get in touch
  20. Haha tell me about it lol, it defo looks like i did but thats mainly because i took the picture after i sanded it smooth, itll be back to red over the weekend though hopefully
  21. Thanks bud, glad your liking it Ahh well it literally took 30seconds.. just screwed right off and then screwed the new one back on.. simples
  22. Cheers guys Ludo will hopefully be back on the road within the next couple weeks fingers crossed, for now though i got a couple more updates for everyone Finally got round to removing my door strips but unfortunately i wasnt paying enough attention (my bad) and accidentally started to peel the paint with them, so i decided to use this as an excuse to touch up the body work abit and also colour code my sills.. After alot of wet sanding i finally got the drivers side, boot lid and rear bumper smooth and primed. only the passenger side left to do, and then time for some flash red Heres a little accident repair update aswell.. After a 3 day battle me and my dad finally got the front wing off, heres ludo partially naked (As my mate says lmao).. plus got a couple stickers made for clublupo Hopefully more updates soonn depending on when parts arrive, thanks for reading
  23. So its been a while since i last posted anything, but alot has happened in the last month or so. for starters the car has finally been lowered, i know it can go lower but for now its gonna be at this height until i fully decide what wheels i'm going to go for.. heres some pics and heres a shot of it standing its ground against a st Then unfortunately 3 weeks ago i had a little incident in the rain which involved a van.. luckily the damage isnt too bad but cause it was the corner abit of everything needed to be replaced... the damage list is: bonnet wing bumper indicator surround panel headlight and front support pannel and heres a couple shots of the (still) ongoing repair and just to finish i have painted my wheels black seen as i dont have the cash at the moment for new wheels i know the car looks high here, but thats because it needed to be raised to get back into my garden also i am looking to add a lupo 3L front bumper and grill, and would like some info as to where i could pick one up thanks for reading
