Looks sweet mate, you should get one of the guys at work to weld a metal plate into the bonnet where the badge used to sit...just out of intrest where do you work? Is it a main dealers or an independant garage?

Well done on the TDi...I was looking for one when I got my Loop, but living on the Isle of Wight makes it hard and expensive to go and look at every car that takes your fancy! So when a petrol Sport was up for sale at a garage here I bought it before they had put the price in the window!!

The accident repair centre I work for at the moment and the others I have worked for in the past have all fitted their own airbags to cars where they have gone off, I have done a couple and to be honest they are not that hard, I would want to make sure that they use exactly the same plugs, contacts etc as a lupo before I swapped them, but its definatly possible.

Mate trust me, there would be more labour costs involved in replacing the wing than repairing it...

Just a bit of advice...if the door is a metallic colour there could be a chance that the wing and or quarter panel will need blending

Or if you havnt just remorgaged recently and cant afford VW prices a trade supplier should be able to mix up cans of aerosol for you.

What did they do? I know you could loose your ncb but what about claiming on your insurance? If its scratched and you are not able to get it resprayed soon touch in the scratches to stop any rust. It sucks when chav scum do this, I really feel for you
