gave the car its first proper wash and wax of the year! Was nice and sunny so go straight to it, got a few pics aswell to show some minor additions to the stealthrider. Black vinyl badge, very pleased with how it turned out. My first sceney sticker Might be coming off though as its not very stealthy.....

Question is.. 1.4 Sport (100bhp) or 1.4 TDI?

as said earlyer, no point at all in the diesel if you dont do many miles, if your just popping around town, the sport will be better for that driving style, diesel will most likely have a heavier clutch, not great in constant traffic. As for sports having bad fuel economy, either the car concered is ruined or you drive everywhere in second gear. My ibiza has (essentially) the same engine and I get a healthy 38-42 constant mpg from a car around a 3rd larger and heavier with a bmc cda fitted. My gf has a sport and yes she gets around 225-250 miles to a tank.. because the tank is smaller than most cars only 35 litres iirc. But she gets 39-45mpg consistantly and she makes it struggle all the time cos she has her music too lound! TDI will be fun and lots or torque, but without a remap it will not be very quick. Sport is revvy, nippy and is fine on petrol. I can see why its a tough choice and its simply down to how many miles you do. 10 miles commute will not be good for a tdi. -

Cheers dude, I dont mind the brows tbh lol it lookes stoned from the front. It only stays clean because of me lol if gf had her way she would just stick it through the car wash! She likes everything about it but as I said I really dont like the wheels theyre battered and just look odd at some angles

Bah! No idea tbh fella, I had nothing to do with buying it. Her dad found it for her, bought it 2 years ago for 2.3k with 51k on the clock, when she told me it didnt seem too bad price , id been looking for one at that point and I was looking closer to 3 grand for same car with around 70k, so it appeared a bargain, if you can remember what was wrong with it please tell me, its been fine since we have had it no issues at all except the throttle body jammed shut last year. But that was a quik fix.

The lupo was bought already modified, somethings I like, but not too keen on the wheels myself or the audi s-line badge on the back... but Amie (gf) wont let me take it off. I tell her it looks crap but she wont listen!!! Lupo Spec: 1.4 16v 100bhp momo 15" alloys split spoiler headlight brows standard suspension standard exhaust Some pics for you; I try my best to convince her to get new wheels at least.... she wanted to at one point, nearly had some bbs rx's but the guy sold them to someone else after we had agreed to come collect them, got there and they'd gone... Could be worse. But you're gonna get people that don't like it "haters" and you know full well that you get this kind of attention, my advice/comment? Don't be so defensive, you're getting mad cos theyre stating their dislike for your mods, but you're also directly arguing with them telling them they are wrong, making them mad. Aslong as your not trying to be one of those people who try to be different for the sake of being different... a "contrarian" cos thats just pathetic

Hey all, Just joining on behalf of my girlfriend, she has owned a lupo 1.4 sport (100bhp) for 2 years now, was lightly modded when she got it, after market alloys, eyelids split spoiler...think the rear lights are different from standard too. Its in red, kept clean and looked after....by me haha, just joining to see what other people do to their loops! I sadly dont have a lupo I drive a mk4 seat ibiza sportrider which is also a 1.4 with 100bhp. Love lupo's and arosa's though always liked them but sadly couldn't afford one for my first car! Had a 106 and moved onto something bigger...and half german Ill take some pictures of the lupo tomorrow and upload them so you can rate/slate! Look forward to chattin and banter! Si
