Porsche 944 turbo wheels with 5 studs wont fit without major modifications .. afaik ..

I spose seeing as you use it for the track a fan upgrade like kenlowe etc would be a good idea. I've given up sourcing the fan blades for ours, VW dont recognise the part , and the motor wasnt a bosch, it was a Temic , with a VW sticker and part number on .. So can only assume the fan blade part was a discontinued part they now know nothing about. So just fitted a bosch motor (6no 959 455) with the later type blades.. (which spins in the opposite direction) works anyway, second hand.

Hi folks, as per my earlier thread about the fan getting broken on our lupo, i've been to vw, given a part number (and registration) and they have given me the wrong part. I noticed straight away, told the guy and he says cant be, thats what Vw have listed but it is. (will get pics up in a mo..) Does anyone have access to part numbers ? Went to the dealers today, and ordered new part w6no 959 465 all in £30 quid, let you know how i get on when i fit it in a day or so . seen it before on a few cars .. just ordered new fan blade section as in pic. motor seems ok ..

No only done 24.000 never been in an accident, can only assume a mechanic did it, had it in a while ago for a cam belt/s service or just had a crack in the fan blades , got one on order so i'll stick it on when it arrives. Hi all, was out in the lupo last week , when i heard a noise under the car which sounded like bits falling off, while looking in the mirror could actually see the bits on the road behind us ! A few days later the car starts vibrating in traffic, and after looking for the problem as it was intermittent found this to be the cause ..thought it was, as come across this years ago with a different car. Hi all, anyone know where apart from a dealer, you can get a full system, for the above car ? Exhaust has'nt sounded right for a week or so getting a resonance at around 4500 rpm , and i think the flexipipe is rattling. I can only seem to find the backbox and centre section elsewhere But the flexi from the dealers only .. Does anyone do a full sports system for the car ? Appreciate any advise as they are quoting £500 plus for the full system if needed.. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Hi all new to the site , great to see so many lupo's !! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> We've had ours a few years its an open air model. Recently the gearbox has had a rattle on idle, is it common ? i'd guess at the release bearing any ideas ? I know the box is a weak point on these models. Also strange noise coming from cambelt / head area could it be the tensioner ? cars only done 19k.. !
