  1. I was having a quick look around for some Lupo pics, and found this site with loads of them on... http://wawawoum.imagesvw2.free.fr/images/allemagne/vw/ This may be a repost, and most of them are quite old, but I thought it was worth sharing anyway.
  2. HOT DAMN style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wub.gif" />
  3. Cheers for posting up the links Liam, I was going to do it, but you've saved me the bother style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> CP gallery now has a couple of extra Loop pics style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> ...and while were on the subject of Lupo's can we see a few more next month please, I thought I'd got the idea of getting one out of my system... but no, I wan't one again style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wub.gif" />
  4. I'm with you on that Tigs. The photograph freaks me out, and I took it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

It will be cool if some of you loopy types can come allong style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> but don't gett stressed if you can't make it, I'm going to take plenty of pics. It all starts at around 2pm, but I usualy end up being late myself style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> Good luck Tigs & Emma with the big day style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  7. We Are Central Park Hey everyone... it's that time of year once again, and hopefully while the sun lasts i've just got time to let you all know that we have now put up the first stage of the Central Park website. It's got all the details about the meet at Wollaton Hall, including a map of where it's at. Soon there will be an extensive gallery of photography from all the VW related things we visit/do We've decided to "flyer" the local are with these: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> So with some luck, and fingers crossed that the weather stays fine, we could have a repeat of year 1, where there were over 60 cars in attendance style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> You guys are always more than welcome, and it'd be a pleasure if you can make it. Thanx Rachel
  8. i'm just a sucker for genuine VW parts thats all style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  9. was searching through some stuff in germany, and came across this grill, which is a genuine VW/Votex part, and it kinda looks like this is what the ABT grill is a copy of. Not bad for the price, brand new and boxed, check it out! lol, i just noticed where this guy is from too, a town called Titz style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> , which is almost tigz style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> `Ta-ra` style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> rach
  10. 17's on a loop is just silly, it's over wheeled, and throws all the proportions out of kilter. :? Big wheels on a small car is like a small child wearing her mothers high heels.
  11. They really are super delicious little wheels, love them to bits. Matt - What's this about 9x16's on a Lupo? Are you mad?... Of course you are... keep up the good work style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  12. Don't do it... it looks daft.
  13. More stretchy tyres on kewl rims... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  14. I knicked (well linked to) the pic off E38. I remember reading that post a few days before getting my new tyres put on, and it made me think twice about stretch tyres. A 205 on a 7 1/2" rim turned out to be just right style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> although I'v kerbed two of them allready  That is my only reservation about recommending stretch tyres to anyone, be very careful, and avoid small villages with narrow streets and high kerbs. This is the original post with pics of some rather nice splitties http://www.edition38.com/board/viewtopic.p...stretched+tyres
  15. This is a bit much  border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  16. These arn't lupo rims, but give you an idea of what a little bit of stretch looks like. 7.5" x 17" with 205/40/17 tyres border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  17. I'v got an iPod install in the golf, and it was dead easy to do. My HU has all manner of fancy ass sockets and plugs on the back, but the one you need is an AUX out. I ran a stereo phono to 3.5mm jack cable from the back of the head unit down the back of the dash and popping through a little hole in the back of the center console. Then stuck the dock in the space in the center console and pluged the cable into the line out socket. If you don't have an AUX out then your going to have to fanny about with adapters and `what-not`. I did loads of research on this when I got my iPod, so if you want any help just ask.
  18. *click on the thumbs for a larger image border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> Just a few screen grabs from the video footage that Lee shot. It was far too dark in there for the stills camera to work, and sorry for anyone who was in lee's session, theres no pics due to the fact i forgot to film anything - doh! (lee is not best pleased, lol) cheers rach
  19. I posted a link to one that was on ebay a while back... http://forum.clublupo.co.uk/viewtopic.php?...highlight=votex I'm rather fond of them.
  20. Yeah, do it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I'm always up for a race.
  21. Love the polished cups... just cheeky enough. Have you thought about a Votex front bumper? they are proper VW supplied accessories, so fit properly
  22. Cheers for coming along everyone. T'was an amazing race, but I'm slightly embarrassed about the winning thing  I'm currently drinking my bottle of winnings :? which is taking away the pain of my aching neck and back. Someone organise another race quick, cos I want to do it again.
  23. Forgot to say... We start at 5.30pm, so look to be there for 5pm. Then there is no rush going through all the signing in, race briefing session, and trying to find a race suit and helmet that fit, type caper. Can't wait now style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="twisted.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  24. Everyone that wants to race can pay on the day. The place is quite easy to find as it's at Langar airfield which is signposted. This is the map off the kart tracks website... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> and... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> If you spot the John Deer tractor factory, you will see the signs for LKQC just after that. The roads to Langar are twisty and fast, with no speed cameras, so watch yourselves
  25. No probs, just pay when you get there. Is Emma racing?
