There is usually a slight bit of play in the steering wheel. Can you give more details on the car please, age, mileage and any mods?

In what way loose? Can you move it in and out and side to side? Or do you feel is isn't connected to the steering column properly?

Hi there, Got a bit of a problem with my 01 lupo sport. Wet out to start it on Monday and I went to start, it cranked and went to fire, then died. Now it just cranks but with really minute splutters. I had it plugged into VAG-com with no faults showing. Fuel pump is priming, battery is fine, air intake seems ok. I'm quite stuck now. I take it my next point of call is the ht leads and spark plugs?? If so, how do I check them safely? Thanks in advance Ben
