  1. What I did was just unscrew the adjuster ring from the cup, this gives you another 10mm drop approx. and the spring won't drop out. If you need to take the whole thing out you'll want to zip tie the spring to the mount so the spring doesn't drop out when you jack the car up.

  2. I think early ones came with double stubbies. A lot of people fit them so even if yours has them, it might not have had them from the factory. They are the same size as the passenger mirror - a stubby drivers mirror is usually a European passenger mirror. Check out german ebay.

  3. JOMs will get you hitting the O/S drive shaft on the front. Nuff low. If you want silly low on the rear you'll need to take the adjusters out.

tbh it's all relative. You want as little arch gap as possible to look good and that will occur at different heights depending on your wheels. The great thing about adjustable coilies is you can keep playing til it looks perfect (and/or drives you insane)

  4. We've been with them for a couple of years but we're not renewing again, apart from what they'll charge now I've got the GTI & the aforementioned not covering mods like-for-like, they took our last 2 payments within days of each other (i.e. they basically took the last one a month early) then said they'd have to charge us to rectify their own mistake - wtf?! Douchebags.
