Lets do a Monthly South Wales Meet :-)
caryleighton replied to Super-Luce's topic in Ireland, Wales and the Westcountry
I would only be free from 2:30 onwards, and depending on the time we meet and the location it might be a bit too late for me to come along I'll try my best though! -
Well that is a standard single slot CD player with changer compatibility, as James said if there isn't a CD changer in the boot, you won't have one. Unless it's under one of the seats, highly unlikely due to the 'free' space available in a Lupo

I feel your pain
-
Take a picture of it to clear things up, quite confused with all these conflicting descriptions!
-
Had exactly the same problem as you with my passenger side. I looked into it, found I couldn't adjust the wind deflectors much, so bought some silicone spray from B&Q and sprayed inside the runners of the windows. They both glide up and down perfectly now

If you press the load button on the left hand side, disc number 1 should start to flash rapidly which means it's ready to accept the first disc, unless there's already one in there of course. After that just repeat by pressing load and then the disc number you want. The same goes for eject... This is the in dash changer yes?

My sport gets around 240 miles to a tank on V-Power But then again, I rarely go on long motorway trips, its just shorter commuting. Haven't seen my sport's economy improve a great deal on motorways anyway, due to the short final drive

I'm now working sundays 7:30 till 2, so depending on the timings I may be able to make an appearance somewhere, decked out in John Lewis uniform -

Just thought i'd ask, are you using one of the aftermarket remote locking kits, or is it factory fitted? Reason being, I have the r-click kit and am looking out for a genuine key to use, as the ones that come with it are pretty bad -
I would definately say there's gonna be interest in an anthracite GTI!
-
Sell the mini instead!
-
I just love the visual difference with the little centre exit exhaust on sports, many people have asked me if it's aftermarket
-
Still got bits of orange on the livery! Haha
-
Think this is the best Mini i've ever seen! Just out of curiosity, is that a custom front plate to fit within the lines of the front bumper?

Does anyone feel it's time for a meet yet? The weather is meant to be fantastic over the next week or so, just sayin' -
Just to let you know, the 9n isn't the stubby aerial. It's the polo 6R aerial that's the new one. I have one on my lupo with a GTI spoiler and it doesn't touch it which is great.

Gotta love 'em with that fantastic noise!

Car's looking awesome as usual mate -
Started off with my 1.0 Arosa, fantastic car I had for 2 trouble free years The family then emigrated to Australia albeit for only 6 months due to unforseen circumstances, but this meant that at age 19 I was the owner of a 4.0 straight six RWD Ford Falcon XR6. Was pretty chuffed. Back to reality with the UK fuel prices meant the Loop Sport. But i'm still loving the little go kart

Spotted at 4pm yesterday going onto the Portbury hundred. Looked lowered with a black vw badge on the rear

Cheers man, I had to wait until the early afternoon to start painting as it was raining all morning. Lovely summer eh? Thankyou, trying to keep the car OEM. Loving your Sport btw, the reg plate is perfect! haha Cheers

GTI brake light condensation
caryleighton replied to caryleighton's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
Ah thought that would be the case, hopefully will last a couple of years though haha Thanks Silver, will get onto LupoBoz for the light kit. -
Hey guys, ever since fitting my GTI spoiler i've noticed condense inside the light unit. It still functions fine, but I am wondering if over time the connections will corrode and fail, as is the fate of many of these designs. I'm wondering if the light unit simply pulls off from the front, as I could then dry it up and reseal with some clear silicone or something. Or does the spoiler need taking off completely? If that's the case mine's not gonna be easy, as it's bonded on :/ Sorry for the low quality, just tried to illustrate what i'm waffling on about
