Not sure if this is the right time of year to sell a car but due to the distance i drive to work now i need to invest in a diesel so it is time to think about selling my lupo It is a silver gti on a 2004 plate and has only covered 56k but is driven daily so this may slightly increase. It has MOT till December 2012 and tax until June 2012. The car is lowered on AP coilovers at a sensible level for a daily driver but they are adjustable so can be brought up or lowered slightly more. It has a Scorpian backbox on which has given it a good sound but is not too loud. It has ATS cup wheels on in quite good condition but are starting to show their age. The front two tyres are only a few weeks old while the backs are still in good condition with loads of tread left. Unfortunately due to drively the car on duelcarriageways daily the front bumper and bonnet are slightly stone chipped but for a car of this age it is expected. I did look into getting it resprayed and it wasn't silly amounts but never got around to doing it. Interior is in quite good condition as i clean the seats regularly and do not smoke in the car. It has wind deflectors on but these can be easily removed. It is also de-wipered on the back window but will include this in the sale as is easy to put back in if you wanted too. The car will be sold with original exhaust, original suspension and two spare tyres. At the moment it has a Pioneer DVD headunit in but i am quite attached to this so the car will be sold with the old headunit in. Wiring will be left in for sub and amp aswell. Looking for £5000 ono, i am open for sensible offers. Will sell the car at £4250 ono with original suspension and exhaust on and without the spare tyres. I am looking at selling my Lupo GTI soon as i drive motorways daily on the way to work and feel that it is time to get a more economical car to do so. I am interested in how much people are willing to pay for these cars atm or whether it would be better to wait until after Christmas time to sell. The car is due MOT in January but i am willing to MOT it early if people are interested in it so that it is sold with 12 months MOT. The car has covered 50,000 miles, most of which has been covered on the motorway so has chips in the paintwork on the bumper which can be expected with these cars. It is a silver lupo GTI with 15" ats cups on which would be included in the sale. At the minute it is lowered on AP coilovers but i have the standard suspension still so i don't know whether it is better to sell with them on or off? It also has a scorpion backbox on but again i have the original backbox still so can be sold with either? Also has been dewipered on the rear and has wind deflectors on the front windows. The interior is cloth and is in good condition. It also comes with air conditioning and remote central locking. I don't really want to sell as i love it so much but due to financial circumstances i may have to look into doing so. i would really appreciate some advice on how much i should put it up for and what people think would be the best - selling with original parts or mods?
