Nice car dude I'm getting a TDI soon and i'm wanting to get mine remapped also. How does it feel after the remap? A lot quicker when you put your foot down? Smoother etc? And do you know what BHP and torque you now have? Sorry for the questions man Tidy ride y0!

Really? I've seen a couple on pistonheads and autotrader with decent miles, a couple on 20k, most around 60-80k and some at just about 100k. Tbh german cars are reliable as **** especially if its a tdi My mates passatt has 250k miles and is still going like a train. As long as it has fsh I would buy a lupo tdi with 100k miles without a second thought

Been browsing for a while but not posted anything so I thought I may as well introduce myself I saw the arosas and lupos at ultimate dubs this year and i've definately been converted. I don't own a lupo yet but I DEFINATELY will very soon, once my apprenticeship falls through my dads giving me a loan to get a car straight away and i'm set on a lupo. I've owned a 106 quiksilver for about a year and i ****ing hated it. I knew nothing about cars when I bought it and it literally just fell to bits haha. Caused me so many problems and put me right in to the stereotype of a chav in an old banger After a bit of research i'm set on a 1.4 TDi Sport, I was originally wanting the 16v petrol version but i've decided on the TDi due to their ability to get decent gains from a remap, dirt cheap road tax and cheap insurance. I'm thinking decat, decent air filter and de-egr maybe (?) then get it mapped which should see me sitting with a nice wee bit of power Has anyone done this? Obviously people have had remaps but what sort of results have people had from a custom map with similar mods? Obviously i'm not expecting a race car haha I just want that extra wee bit of power, remapped turbo diesels are definately the way to go, i've been converted by my mates Passatt B5 Visually it's gonna obviously be low and i'm thinking bathurts? Not sure if they'd look a bit **** on a non-gti though.. Hmmm. Anyway that's me, you'll see me lurking about trying to learn as much as I can from now on
