  1. Thanks for all the offers guys and gals, I'm really busy with work for the next week or so, but will have to see if I can arrange a trip shortly.
  2. Shame yours is a bit too expensive mate, am hoping to buy one soon!
  3. I'm in Wellington (near Taunton). Think its about 80 miles or so.
  4. Thanks for the offer funkycooljem, but I've been out in a 1.4 Arosa before so I know the general feel of the car. I'm really just after the GTI.
  5. Nice motor. This dubbers place looks really good and I'm interested in the GTI they have for sale at the mo. Trouble is, I live miles away!
  6. I'm quite tempted to get myself a Lupo GTI, I was wondering whether there are any Somerset members on here who like to take me out for a spin? There aren't many in this area so I would like to get a look at one in the flesh. Richard
  7. Could just get some steel's for mine I suppose, not too bothered, just want to get the current wheels off!
  8. No I meant the Oz's on mine, they arent too my taste and would like to sell them for as much as I can/trade for a pair from another arosa.
  9. Yeh that would be good if you could get a pic then I might know what I'm looking at. Do any of you have any idea what model the current alloys are?
  10. Heres some more pics: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
  11. Right, it does have remote central locking. I remember seeing a post a while back with a pic of the resevoir, and I don't recall seing that under my bonnet, there certainly isnt any other resevoirs to fill up other than brake fluid, washer fluid and water. Is it possible it could have been taken out because it wasn't working to save the owner some money? Oh and thanks for correcting me on the alloy size, I only roughly estimated. Any idea what model OZ wheels they are, and how much they might fetch if I was to sell?
  12. I'm certainly sure it should have power steering, however the garage did tell me that it didn't before I bought it, so it wasn't as if they were trying to hide something. The garage is Carshop in Yeovil, Somerset. I have a 12month warranty on it as well, so if it does have broken power steering it wont be a problem getting it fixed.... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> Sorry about the pic quality, its cold and frozen outside hence the poor pics! You should be able to see the tyre size in the pic. Oh and the wheels are filthy, not scratched, just I do 100 mile a day and there is a lot of salt on the roads at the moment!
  13. What should I be looking for under the bonnet, I know there should be a resevoir with a green cap, which I can't see! Oh it does have a driver airbag by the way.
  14. Just the elec windows as far as I know..... Again I thought it was a bit nuts a car made in the Year 2000 didnt have power steering. The garage is geniune by my belief, so I don't feel swindled.
  15. Yeh it does have it on the log book, I'm not too bothered as I didn't pay through the nose for the fact it was badged an SE. The power steering was news to me as well, I thought they all came with it (could have been taken out I suppose). Its 2000 W reg.
