Hi all. I have a pair of GTi headlights, simply because they look 1000 times better than the standard headlights and have been thinking of how to fit them to my sport but keeping legal. Came across these hella Bi-halogen projectors Now i've emailed hella to get the dimensions to see if they fit in the existing light housings, then the rest should (hopefully) be some re-wiring to take into account the different position of the indicator in the GTi light but staying LEGAL. Can anyone see anything obvious i've missed?? Tom

Right had the throttle body reset using VagCom. the 00282 Fault code came back within a day which is frustrating, at the weekend i'll give the throttle body and actuator a good clean to see if this helps. The person who reset the throttle body said they've seen this before but on a polo6n2 and they had to put in a new pedal box, could this be the same on the Lupo?

Hi, Recently bought a basic diagnostics tool. When scanning my 1.4 16v Sport it keeps giving me the fault code '00282 Throttle position actuator' I clear it and it comes back within a week or so. The idle is a bit inconsistent which I guess has something to do with it. Been reading around and do i need to re-allign the body? Thanks Tom

I think a list of everyone who has been refused lately should be created. Mine was refused even though the man at the dealership bodyshop was adoment that it would go through as he had done plenty before. I'm fed up arguing over the phone with someone who is making decisions without even seeing the car! Yes VW your cars are good but your customer service is appalling!

Hi, Noticed today that my drivers side door does not activate the interior light when I open it but the passenger side works. Didn't really think much about it until I tried to start the car and noticed the fuel pump hadn't primed. (Obviously because the car isn't recognising that I'm opening the door) Does anyone know where the sensor for the door is? Is it built into the locks? Thanks Tom

Hi all, Braked a bit hard at a roundabout this evening in my Lupo sport and abs kicked in like normal then decided to stop working and wheels locked up. straight after i stopped braking the abs light came on, I have a friend has VAGCOM but won't be able to see him until the new year, Just want to know if there's a common problem or maybe blown fuse to look for before I take it in for Diagnostics? GTi engine cover with 1.6 16v badging, got this with some other GTi parts but doesn't fit my 1.4 sport. I think it may have a slight cut out for induction kit, but has been neatly done and isn't really noticeable. £30 om collection
