That's great thankyou. Not too fussed about a cd player nowadays. Have heard that you van fit an iPod cable in to the mfd so that would completely eliminate the need for a cd player/changer. The one you have linked to is the one I'm interested in, the seller is on edition38. If you say that's a good buy then I may just give it a try.

Hi guys, Still new here, so bear with me on the questions that may have been asked a million times before. (have tried the search function but drawing a blank) Currently have a 2001 Lupo GTi with factory cassette and Cd player, really want a double din sat nav, have seen a couple of MFD sat nav units out of a bora but was wondering if these are any good, and how much I should expect to pay. How accurate is the nav control? or are there better units out there, any recommendations would be appreciated. Been looking into the RNS310 too but not sure if they fit either. Basically, a budget dash fitted Nav unit as hate the Tom tom that falls off the windscreen all the time. Thanks

Didn't want to start a new topic. I am looking for a double din with sat nav built in, and also able to pay my iPod through, is a AVIC-F500BT + Pioneer ND-G500 amplifier any good? does anyone on here have this? Thanks

Toodled off to work today so my lovely husband did this to the Lupo... It's been snowfoamed, washed with lambswool mitt, dried, de-swirled, waxed, hoovered and interior valeted. It's going to be claybar'd when we get the chance. Can't wait to finish work so I can get some decent photos done at the weekend, I feel like I've barely seen the car.

Well today I did it, I put a deposit down on a Black 51 Reg Lupo GTI! I'm so chuffed. I'm hoping to pick it up on Friday and am already thinking about some little bits and pieces to do to it. It's in good condition with only a few chips and scuffs but nothing I can't put right. Here's a few pics, taken on the iPhone...
