well thats it really, at the end of it all its your motor, and you have to be happy with it! I think it looks sweet, but im 19.. so in a couple of years I may think it looks gash, just like the time i liked lexus lights! errgh... best looking tailpipe/exhaust for a sport/gti i've seen is the scorpion evo r is it? on exxx arosa's motor.. thats sweet!

I have to disagree, i really like them! one reason is: they are just making their presence, they are not actually physically advertising anything..( i know that they are, and that sounds stupid of me to say) but i just like the way that they are done!

i've just recently got a bonrath grille from modworld.. i bought it, went through the checkout etc. 3 days later i got an email explaining that it was out of stock and would take 3-4weeks to come from germany, i was asked if i wanted tocontinue or cancel my order, i replied stating that i would like to continue. all in all took about 5 weeks from me first wanting it.. to me getting it!

yeah i know!, id love them! just a question of cash at the minute, i really want some in white though, but was also looking at the team dynamics pro race 2's, you can get them in white, but i have a feeling that if i got them id be settling for second best, and i'd still be shelling out 500quid for something i wasnt sure of!

They look decent! im gonna have a crack at polishing them in the very near future.. i think im going to buy some lightweight wheels aswell, maybe black/white pro race 2's or the new oz's.. just so i can swap them over once in a while for a change. thanks for that pic though bluloop and to chris for the info/how to's on the polishing! big help! n cheers for everyone complimenting the rims.. Just got the alloys today, my original alloys are et43 right.. i have found out that the MK2 alloys are et38 as listed here.... 6.0x14 ET38 4/100 Avus 6.0x14 ET38 4/100 Pirelli 6.0x14 ET38 4/100 Montreal 6.0x14 ET38 4/100 Le Casellet 6.0x14 ET38 4/100 Silverstone 6.0x14 ET38 4/100 Zandvoort they are all the mk2 alloys that conrrespond with the ones iv got eg. 6"x14" 4x100 etc. so this et of 5 that im missing! whats it mean, will they run alright? heresa pic of one ivjust slapped on to see what itlooks like... tyres are huge 60 profiles!! would be changing them if iam guna run/refurbish the wheels border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />

i think i will go down the polishing route.. the two examples shown above look great! regarding the fitment of these wheels.. will it be okay to just pop them on then and use my original seat wheel nuts on them? iv heard stories of people using the same bolts they had on previous wheels and them being unsafe on different wheels.. any advice would be appreciated.

so about this polishing lark.. do you have to go to a specialist or is it acheivable DIY? what do you do? just get a polishing substance and rub and rub and rub till your elbows drop off? they are coming on wednesday.. havnt actually got my car at the minute though, its in the garage having its EPC and exhaust emmision lights sorted out.. they keep coming on! already been back 3 times with the same problems! getting rather annoyed now, plus im stuck with a 1.3 toyota corolla.. you know the REALLY ugly bug eyed one!

nice one, the tyres on the golf wheels are 60 profiles though so may have to change them? could always ask a garage to swap my tyres over from my rosa alloys onto those as they are both 14"?

ePC is engine management, as the key in the car manual you get with it says.. mine just came on for a shortish journey then was on on the way back too, but had a look under the bonnet, turned the car on n its gone off! brake lights work aswell... so anyone know what could be the problm?? iv just fitted a k&N induction kit, but had it on 3 days and its the 1st time iv seen this light!

hi all, this is my new rosa sport, done 21k when i got it 2 weeks ago, looking to change the wheels either compmotive MO's 16" or team dynamics pro race 2, in either black or white.. i quite fancy white 5 spoked on it!, debadge it, maybe spray the front seat badge bodywork colout, or maybe a matt colour, gonna get some -30mm eibachs, and finally an induction kit. crap pics for now, but moving house so everythings packed away so had to improvise with whati already had loaded up on pc from mobile! border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />

yeah the car is ok.. its got the red rear lights though, im not so fond of them agaisnt the blue paintwork, looking for some black backed ones on ebay.. if i cant find any 2nd hand il have to go to the dealers. i might have a bit of a dabble at some tinting with the red ones when i get my black ones.. have a bit of fun with them. il get some pics taken of it standard, so that people can see its progress. i would love to have 195 40's but are the readily available? some websites dont offer them with 16's.. spose i could request them. cheers

Hi, been reading on these forums for some months now my name is Si just got myself a metallic blue 2001 blue arosa sport.. its really nice, had it a week now had a honda civic before and a punto before that.. anyway question is i want some compmotive MO 5 spoke rims in white... 16" if poss.. i am also looking to drop the car on 30mm eibachs.. so the tyre choice i would be given would be 195/45/16... so would these fit my car.. also what ofset do these wheels come in? sorry for all the qustions.. i have looked around various websites but need the reassurance off you guys cheers!
