  2. hey not yet im goin to try the crank posision sensor next as there was a fault code in there for that

  3. hi everyone, ive recently brought a 1.4s and im havin a little trouble when i first start it it idles well but after 30 seconds or so the revs drop and it starts pulsing like its fighting with its self to stay running. it drives fine not missing at all its just on idle, ive read some old posts so ive cleaned out the tb and the breather pipe which were both full of crap and it does respond a lot better but still has the fault it only started to do this after changing the timing belt and tentioners and also the water pump but ive checked the timing 3 times since and its still bang on, so im still scratching my head! any help pointing me in the right direction would be gratefully recieved cheers tony
  4. hiya mate im just wondering if u cured the idle fault? mines just started doing the same, cheers tony

  5. did you manage to get to the bottem of the problem mate? it was running fine but i did notice the temp gauge falling to sleep now and then. ive just changed the timing belt and waterpump and its now doin exactly the same as yours, starts and idles fine for about 30 seconds then runs rough like its going to cut out! ive checked the timing 3 times since and all seems fine!this could be rediculous but might it have something to do with the new water pump finishing the temp sender off? excuse me for being green behind the ears. Any help gratefully recieved.
