I miss my vRS Mines was tuned to around 190bhp. Sold it when i lost my job and miss it something awful!

New here but i joined a few years ago and don't think i've ever posted! I bought a Seat Arosa with the intent on fixing it's niggles, MOTing it and selling it on. Car has three niggles! One of my niggles is the drivers window winder is missing the bit at the top. Just going to be replacing both winders as they're only £2 each off ebay, but will cordoba ones work and fix? Or do i need to get one specific to the Arosa/Lupo? Next niggle is the previous owner has taken the centre dash out to carbon wrap the middle triangle shaped piece and to run new tweeters. It's not been put back together properly and sits proud and loose at the bottom. I guess this all just un clips off and back together the reverse? Don't wanna go breaking anything so thought i'd ask on here before ordering or doing anything

How do folks, been looking for a cheap diesel run about for a few days now after selling my Caddy Van cos it was a money pit! Bought my mrs a Corsa C which is what she wanted and i have £2k to spend on another car. I got offered a 1.4 TDi sport GTi replica from a friend, it's done 105k FSH but he can't find the book for it. He's owned it quite a few years now and has spared no expense on it. Offered it for a good price, going to see it on Saturday with my mate who's a Skoda Mechanic. So possibly be an owner on sunday night He says it needs the gear linkage adjusted, is this an easy job? Will it prevent me driving the car till i can get it in to have this done?
