Got the subframe back powder coated a very bright red. Got all the broken stuff off and fitted the new sump, just waiting on a clutch and some other worn out parts before I can get it all back together. Shouldn't be too long now

getting my subframe back in a few days, it's off to be sandblasted and powdercoated red. still in need of a gearbox though if anyone knows of one. i got into my uni course so i am going to need the car for uni and am now deciding on whether to get air and whether to bother fixing my wheels.

painted the sump in hammerite, looks much better, subframe arrived today it's in good condition but there is some surface rust so going to look into getting it sandblasted then powdercoated

powerchips re-map and stainless steel exhaust has got me about 110bhp plus, does feel quick

does anyone know what size spline drive i need to remove the driveshafts?

Anyone know whether a gpk gearbox from a 1.4 tdi a2 would fit into my arosa tdi which did have a exb

Gear box will fit, a2 may have different drive shafts. Make sure its a 5-speed box and your away!
It's definatley a 5 speed, guy who's selling it wasn't 100% sure it would fit, don't really fancy spending £180 on something that might not fit

There's a few Arosa's on eBay for breaking fella, hope this helps
seen some but the parts i need are tdi specific apart from the wishbones.
found out the a2 box wouldn't fit as mine is an exb so now on the lookout for one of them

hi, i have managed to find a 1.4 tdi gearbox but it's from a 1.4 tdi audi a2 and i have a tdi arosa
it sure looks similar to the one i have but is it the same?

after refitting my sump i have somehow lost two of the bolts and need to get some more does anyone have the specs of these bolts or a vw part number?
