Been annoying me for soo long now, everytime i turn the wheel or break the drivers side front break screeches. Any ideas?

Had a similar problem like this in my polo, found out it was the actual switch that was burnt out. But the fuse and indicator lights were all fine.

Thats wicked, my wheel is nackerd. Will have to give this guy a shout, Leather for me.

@scotty Thanks for the sarcastic reply, @James Well no ive never done anything like that before, but i just wanted an idea on what ill need for the conversion. I wanna buy everything an then ill get some 1 to fit it all. Ill have a look through caspers thread.

Yeah the smell isn't constantly there, i think it is just the filter because i was getting a similar thing when i fitted a K+N induction kit to my polo. Gonna take the car down to my mechanic later on 2day just to be on the safe side, and also probably tell him to clean the throttle out.

nah no lights on the dash at all. idle is fine aswel. @scotty - ive been driving it like this for about 3 weeks, do you think it could be because of the bmc filter? cj

When i drive n stuff thers a strong smell of petrol in the car, and when i turn on the heater the smell gets stronger. I duno if thers a leak or not. i wudnt know where to look first. cj

Hi people, Right lastnite i went over a speedhump a bit too fast (didnt see the bloody thing) and the main xenon bulb started flickering. The headlight itself is loose as the top bracket is broken. So i thought the bulbs just gone and ill replace it. I then realised that when i turn the lights on and off the bulb comes back on for a short period then cuts out. after reading a few old posts on here its got me thinking it could be the igniter. What bulb would i need to buy as a replacement? I think the cars has standard bulbs. Also is there a quick and easy way to remove the bulb without taking the whole bumper off and removing the light? cheers guys

Thats wicked man, less stressed out now lol, thats the only thing that was worrying me with the 5 speed. But the gears are abit stiff, what could this be? thanks cj

Hi guys just recently bought a lupo gti. unfortunately its the 5 speed gear box. can it be swapped for a 6 speed? or will I need a whole conversion? the polo gti boxes were known to have problems, is this the case with the 5 speed lupo box? i herd that the 6 speed is a stronger box is this true? thanks cj

not 100% sure but i herd that when lowering it puts more stress on the drive shaft

Hi People jus joined the forum, i was a proud polo gti owner untill some tw-at smashed it up. At the moment im carless but iam looking to get a 1.0L lupo.
