  1. Hey Dale It's Beth who bought the Lupo from you. Believe it or not I bought it from you last May, almost a year ago. It's had another VW service, brake pads changed, obviously another 6 months tax too. Its up for £3250, best offer, which if you know Ebay means I'm getting offered around the region of £2500!! The bumper is the same as when you had it, although I have touched it up, it doesnt need a respray..just that very small mark on the front drivers side. It's been super reliable car, but needs must. I have looked at ways to keep it, but without buying a cheap estate car and paying for another cars insruance etc which is no longer an option now my boyfriend doesnt have a company car (the passat) Hope it hasnt offended you that I'm selling it But it's time to move on.
  2. Was pulling out of Mc D's, Think it was an 04 plate? Wasnt in mine, was in the oil burner bora!
  3. Engine size: 1.6 16v 125 bhp Fuel type: Petrol 4 months tax and MOT Description including modifications: This is a great unmolested example of a Lupo GTi, in my opinion, and is pretty much standard, but with a few subtle modifications. Below follows a short list: Drives & stops absolutely beautifully, can't fault it. Previous owner worked at VW dealership in Farnham Surrey, well known member on Club Lupo, i bought the car off the lupo forum! The only three points to note is; a) There is a scuff mark on the front bumper, O/S/F, where some *** person scraped me in a car park, but it's plastic and won't rust, i have a touch up stick with the car, i have touched it in too. When I first bought the car, there was a little dent upon the N/S/R quater panel, on the wheel arch, where the paint is not at all damaged and there's no 'open wound' or rust present. c) There was some rust bubbling up on the roof, drivers' side, along the gutter rail. Which is a known occurance on these cars. However, the rust has now gone, as previous owner had the roof repainted in Moon Silver (R7X) under warranty, so that's all been done and to a very high standard too. Just thought I'd mention it. There are the usual stone chips on the bonnet, but overall the paintwork is in lovely condition! I love this car, and it really is in lovely condition! I am selling as im after something else, especially after driving my partners Bora TDi may p/x especially diesel or estate or try me The lupo just isn't suitable for the dog and surfboard. Price : £3250 I am in North Cornwall 07955 586520
  4. Don't suppose you know if these would fit a standard lupo gti without any modifications?
  5. The vacuum hose to the brake servo. Thanks Treblet, I've cleaned them up and will keep an eye on this. Is it a common fault?
  6. Well, Vag Com was showing no faults, so had a little poke around, turned out to a split hose ... phew! Thank you for your help guys
  7. Hu guys! I apologise for this being my first thread, I've been i member for a while though Well after unsuccessfully trying to find the fault with my Lupo, I thought I'd ask you guys for some help! So heres the story from the start, I ran the car low on fuel (naughty i know) got home, washed and wax the car, went to go out a few days later and the car started and died immediately I thought it had run out of fuel, after putting well over a gallon in, she still wouldnt start, sounded like no compression. Eventually after a few squirts of "start your lovely person" and charging the battery (and cracking the engine cover in the process- not a good day) she fired up BUT is running VERY poor. I did notice there was a quite a bit of oil in spark plug 1 or 4 (the one closest to the air intake) I have the emissions light on the dash Misfire on tick over Hunting A HORRIBLE smell in the cabin (REAL BAD) So I'm charging the laptop up with VAGCOM, but in the mean time I didnt know if you guys had any ideas?
