    Put it on the floor!
  2. Yeah, its pretty much completely standard at the moment. Bryntirion / Cefn Glas, you?
  3. I'm from bridgend, green lupo, with a club lupo sticker on the rear window. But thats not me haha, no side exit or green dash, i think i know the one your on about though!
  4. If you can open your door from the inside, youll be able to repair it. You'll need a door lock repair kit for a lupo off ebay, should be around £10, the video posted above will show you how to do it. To get the barrel out open your door and the will be a grommet in the side/shut of the door, take it off and undo the torx bolt (don't take it completely out) untill you can pull the barrel out from the outside of the door. It's not easy to do though! Good luck!
  5. All done! took about an hour to prise the circlip off the paddle with two screwdrivers, then lots of broken parts fell out lol. the door opened from the inside then Thanks for the help everyone!
  6. Thanks for the link! Still cant open the door to do it though. I got my repair kit so i had a go at opening the door today, both handles do operate the mechanism. The paddle and circlip are on the lock, so should i take them out and do what the paddle does with a screwdriver? Really getting anoying now
  7. what ever you do, don't force the key to turn. I did and now the barrel just spins and have a tricky repair to do :\
  8. Would i be able to install it without opening the door though? Will be giving this a try! Thanks
  9. I'm gonna wait until my lock repair kit arrives before i have a proper go at opening the door, don't wanna open it and not be able to fix it and maybe not lock again :s Yeah there is a lot about door locks, cant seem to find any that wont open from the inside though. I'll update this thread if i manage to sort it, thanks for the help!
  10. Yeah i could try that. Iv'e had the door card off and pulled the cable and the mechanism moves, don't know if it moves enough tho. maybe wd40 the mechanism? Getting in the passenger side is getting annoying
  11. Iv'e broken my drivers door lock, probably from forcing it in the cold. Its spinning but i can't even open the door from the inside to change the barrel, any ideas? Thanks Cory.
  12. I had to wait nearly a year and a half to insure my 1.0l because I couldn't get quotes under 3500 , now 1200 with admiral on my own name. They seem to be one of the best for young drivers, or one of the admiral group I'd definitely give them a try!
  13. Ended up buying a 17mm allen key, no more stiff gear changes or whining 5th gear
  14. ah okay, i'll give it a go in the morning. thanks for the help
  15. I have searched but found nothing useful. Just want to know where the filler plug is on a 1.0 gear box and what tool is needed? Thanks, Cory
