  1. I saw this guy also! A sweet slammed '51 plate wasn't it?
  2. Thanks for the reply mate. Tbh they are randomly wound as i've recently cleaned them so moved the adjusters up and down a few times... So, the lower the adjusters the lower the car will be?! Right, i was thinking the other way around, but that makes sense! More spring travel lower the car. Less spring travel higher the car- Gotcha! I have no documentation for them, even had to aquire c spanners. Would you (or anybody else) recommend i change the top(rubber) mounts and any other components at the same tiem as fitting the coilies?
  3. Well I've finally found a lupo to go with the Coilovers I bought over a month ago... lol!! It’s a 52 plate 1.0 SE in fresco green (one of only two colours (+black) available I believe). Totally standard for now apart from the 2years of chestnut tree sap and crud all over the Car! …oh, and only one wing mirror, weight saving perhaps?! If I get the time I was planning to fit these TA technix Coilovers at the weekend and was looking for some advice… I appreciate the end ride height is up to me but if I was looking to start with a 40-60mm drop how far up the strut should I wind the adjuster. Also should the spring assistors be above or Below the main spring..or should I remove them all together? Everyone likes a picture… As a previous post explained I bought them second hand but after cleaning them up and Freeing off the adjusters they are almost unrecognisable and look nearly new!
  4. Got these from a seller on ebay: C'Spanner Good piece of kit, excellent quality and at £8.99 for two spanners you can't go wrong! On the subject of my coilovers i'm happy with my purchase and i realise they are not the most expensive or best. They seem great and had not siezed. I now need to buy a Lupo to fit them to lol. Actually does anybody have a height guide so i have an idea on where to set them for say a 60mm drop? ...or should i just guess then adjust on car? For picture lovers... here you go!
  5. Very smart mate... nice wheels and the drop has certainly made the car!! Do you know if the coilovers are the same for the Arosa as the lupo?
  6. Thanks for the family fix info! Does anybody know from what year the lupo got Isofix... 2002 on or do the early ones X, Y, 51 etc still have it?
  7. Tidy Silver Lupo with Ronal multispokes and VW mudflaps! Hello...
  8. Guys, thanks again... Yes they are second hand and without having a lupo i'm taking a gamble on both fronts- although they were a good price. Should hopefully get them mid-week (19/20th), so i'll see how they really look and adjust (or not) etc...
  9. Thanks for the info guys, i will follow through with those options! Just thinking.. is there anybody in the north east area that have TA Technix coilovers?? I just want to make sure that these used ones aren't siezed at the current set height...
  10. Hi... As my last post mentioned i've picked up a set of TA Technix Coilovers that i hope will fit a non GTI lupo. Might be worth mentioning that i havent bought a lupo yet! lol Does anybody know where i can get the correct size C Spanner to adjust them? Cheers

    TA Technix

As the title suggests i'm trying to find out the code stamped on the bottom of the front coilovers? The set i'm looking at is stamped GFVW02V, which i'm hoping is Lupo! I'm hoping somebody knows or can check for me??

    Arosing

Hey good job- very tidy! I'm new to the forum but i'm guessing you are running coilovers? Also those steels look bigger than standard, are they from Ibiza or equivalent with lower profile tyres?
