Such a cool looking car the GTI, whereas i aren't a fan of the standard Lupo or Arosa. Wondering how easy and cost effective it would be to build a look-alike, mainly because the insurance on a 1.6 would kill me. Either that or an engine transplant

Apart from the obvious bumpers, 1.6 engine and alloys, what else makes a GTI look so good?

Some of you may remember a few months back when I started a thread about creating an encyclopedia for the Lupo GTI, that looks like this: I had problems with my pc which lead to loosing the design, but I'm now back up and running. I'm after some sales brochures for the GTI and good quality front, back and side pictures of a (preferably black) GTI if anyone can help, especially with the brochures. Thanks

Oh, and as regards the register, i think its a great idea, i can't see why anyone would have a problem with it, Any crook could drive past your house and mark down your numberplate, so i don't see why people scrub their numberplate out on photo's etc, but each to their own. If people want to participate, great, if they don't, thats fine, but i think its worth a go
