Hey not to sure if this is the right section to post "car security" related posts but anyway ... Iv been looking into getting a uprated alarm fitted to my Lupo, one reason as I would hate for the little dude to get nicked and the other maybe to try and lower my insurance. Just wondering if anyone had any advice of car alarm manufacturers that they would recommend I look into or any that most insurance compony recognise and stand me a good chance of lowering my insurance premium Cheers

Recently my Lupos idle has started to play up and now seems to be happening more and more frequently, every so often when I stop at a junction or in traffic the idle dips down from where it normally is, when this happens it try's to recover and revs back up to the normal idle but the just keeps dipping again, after giving it a little rev ( nothing major, never over 2.5k) it clears and runs as normal for a while. Any suggestions as to what this could be?

Same thing happened to me, all gears started to whine in all gears, jumping out of reverse and hard to select 1st, mine needed reconnditioning

was this yesterday as in Wednesday? If so what time?

Today 12th Jan spotted Parked in greatbar college, low On a 54 plate I think, only got a look head on so could see some deep dish rims with the dished lip being White I think? Anyone on here ??

I can understand the white smoke, but would the cold weather also cause it to spit :s?

It's a stainless steel system with sports cat but never did it before and as it spits you can smell fuel, for example in the mornings when it does it everytime it spits more White smoke comes out than normal :/ if that makes sense

Hey My problem is that the exhaust seems to spit (not a misfire but similar if you know what i mean) it doesn't follow a patten and seems to just spit randomly :S only just started doing it, the fumes do smell rich.... any help would be appreshiated Cheers

Hey all just a quick question really and i know you get LOADS of wheel questions but im stuck, im considering changing my current wheels (Schmidt Modernlines 15x8) for somthing smaller like in the 14" area but am really struggling to find some 14" with decent dish that look decent on the lupo. Oooo was wondering why iv never seen it I'm at great bar college on Wednesdays in the little beast iv seen a yellow Lupo driving around near the college before really low and reg in the front windscreen, you know who that might be?

Driving to work today ( at 5:30 am in the snow :/ ) just came off the m6 and Coleshill sitting at the island waiting for the lights, the battery light comes on and the car stops, I still had my lights working and could put my hazards on, I called the old man who told me to call AA, just before I did I tried it to see if it would turn over and it did! no battery light or anything, but i need to get the reason for this looked at, I had just bin down the motorway so would have thought the alternator would have been going round like an arsehole lol so what's more likely, weak battery or dodge alternator ?? Cheers
