Noticed a funny smell the other week when I was spraying my windscreen which got worse throughout the week. Then evertime I used the washer fluid it smelt like a rat had died in the fluid bottle, it was digusting and it started to meke the car smell really bad inside! I then drained the washer bottle a good three or four times to remove any fluid that was in there with plain water and bought some new screen wash fluid just to be sure. It smelt ok for about a day then suddenly the smell returned.....but worse! Has anyone else had a similar problem? i was thinking it might be the warm weather but no one else seems to have the same problem. I have today drained the bottle a good 5-7 times and even used a bit of soap to give it a good clean and I am going to use plain water in the washer bottle for a while to see if there is any difference. Any help or ideas much appreciated! Cheers

Service time has come round again! how much should I expect to pay for a second service on my loop? and will it affect my warranty if I take it somewhere other than a VW dealer? Cheers Folks, Al

sorry I'm not very technical either, what does the loom do? the Radio and CD are still working fine without it.

Just found this in my box of spare car bits, I seem to remember its coming out of the back of my Beta HU when I added a CD player and couldnt find where to plug it back in after so I didnt bother.
