  6. no need to remove airbag either, just literally remove bottom half of bash (tray) altho as u say not hugely benificial for the gains....
  7. Was looking in a mates polo today and i think that you remove the tray and the complet bottom part of the dashboard (from driver and passenger sie) then you can easily replace it with a gloved box version. Will get picks tommorrow

yeah ive got an invoice from the fisrt owner, apparently when he brought the car he didnt like the bathurst, so he paid VW like £400 to supply and fit these ones (which i think are off a polo anyway!) Bizzare

Would have been Ross, yeah was a good meet (my first club lupo meet) was cool seeing my car parked up next to all the others. I was really taken back by all the euro cars, i've been up to Milton Keynes cruise a few times and the general attitude is usually "so how did you do that", "dunno just paid a bodyshop they did it" so seeing and speaking to such a huge amount of people who actually knew what they where talking about and the lack of chavs made for a great evening out!! Drive home was awsome bout 6 of us at one point. Will have to put some faces to cars next time style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="thumbup.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="thumbup.gif" />

  14. Thanks guys and gals, Yellow Lupo chick: it was a while back that i had the arosa now, had a 306 now the GTI, ill keep an eye out for the yellow loop running around.
  15. Just spoke to VW about some paintwork on my car and baisically they said that the paintowrk is covered by a 3 year warranty so if you get it repaired by a vw aproved ARC within the 3 years and the paint flakes off then your still covered. The anti rust warrenty states that if the panel itself has any rust ( a hole apears in it) then your covered for up to 10(i think ) years , however if you only have rust on the surface (Paintwork) then its not covered. So in short if they repair all your panels and in 4 years rust apear on the surface then your stuffed. To my understanding.
  16. dont know if this is the same but with my passenger window motor i pull the "signle click" switch and it goes up half way then goes back down again leaving it about a third open. ???? any ideas?
  17. I've sold loads of Nakamichi stuff and they are awsome units, they dont have all the ball**** craphics and lights etc so more power etc is used to make good sound quality. Good choice! Alfie
  18. The chips away near my town in Banbury they actually have a bodyshop. You take it to the guy and he has it for like a day or 2. Ive had two cars there and his work is superb. I can agree with not wanting it to be done on the side of the road or something tho. Watch out for car medic tho cos they do the same thing but in my experience are completely *****! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":surprise:" border="0" alt="surprise.gif" />
  19. Yeah "red lup gti" on here has porche rims may be an idea asking him? border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />

Hopefully ill find one and see you at some meets in the future style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Alfie
