Hey I might have seen you about! Whats part of your Registration? I live in Chelmsford and am on the road alot! Good to know there are some Gti's near me for when i've saved up enough to buy one!

Hey Nicki, Yeah I do live in Chelmsford. You still got your GTI yeah? I remember looking at the reg but I can't reember it now, i'm pretty sure the plates looked a bit special though, kind of like if you felt it, the digits were raised.

I saw you down Waterhouse lane just now at the lights, you was in the lane to turn right but instead cut in front of me and went straight. I was in a Transit, i'll let you off though cos you have a nice car! Let me know when you wanna sell it, I want!

lol yeah its sweet owning a rare(ish) car, you get all excited when you see another one. There's a Polo G40 that goes around Chelmsford n it's our cars fall in love n start flirting with each other on the road..or something. I'm pretty much saving for a Lupo Gti, though I haven't got very far yet! What do you do if you don't mind me asking? It's not impossible that I might see you around that area.

Don't see many modded Lupo's about, in fact yours is the first i've seen. I'm in a Dovercourt Ford Parts transit van lol Think you had some kind of sticky monkey in the rear window too, nice. Dave

Yeah I'd probaly end up waiting until someones selling one or get a steel one from somewhere I guess. If I had the money that S3 LUPO's one would have been nice when it was for sale, so if i'm lucky something already with coilovers n debadged grill will come along. Well both those grills look fine to me. When you say half mooned bit, is that for the recess? That would look gash! Damn didn't know they were alu, can't you get like a carbon fibre (partly) bonnet without the recess for less than £300?

Sweet! That exactly what I want! So is that just a debadged grill that you would buy for a non gti? Don't suppose you know how much the going rate for having the recess filled is? Thanks

Cool thanks a 3 slat one is what I had in mind. Don't suppose you have a pic, or know where I can see pics of some nice euro'd lupo's as I'm having a job finding many. To be honest i'm split between a MKIV Golf 1.8 T and a Lupo Gti. The speed is roughly the same and so is the price so it's mainly down to looks, also I like the fact the Lupo's small. Thanks

So I just read there isn't one? Surely that can't be right! I have plans to buy a Lupo when i've saved enough money and want to debadge it and fill in the badge recess. There has to be one. I actually prefer the 16v grill to the Gti one.

Hey there, very nice forum. Im from porka.net but i badly want a Lupo Gti! Need to get a full time job before i can afford one tho. Just wondered how big the front door speakers are in the lupo gti as standard coz at the mo i have some kicker 6.5inch components that i dont wanna part with unless i have to. Cheers
