Tash's Lupo

I'm 18, Only got a 1.0L, and still pay £1,110 !! works out around £100 a month !! Cant imagine trying to insure a GTI !! (As much as i'd loved to, Think ill be sticking with the 1.0L for now) and would recommend that you stick with your corsa or get a smaller Lupo

we were looking. dont want red stiching though.. i love the golf seats.. good idea by you.. so comfortable.. also look nice

I also Have a w 2000 plate lupo.. ebay is great for them, but if you want a VW part. the Link above by bikemad04 has the part numbers. I'm also glad mine is all sorted, doesnt seem to use as much fuel now.. get yours fixed!! get us updated also make sure youve got coolant to hand, as we lost a fair bit when changing the sensor, took a litre bottle to fill again

have you bought your new car then ?? if so what you got ?? I love my car and in reply to a comment you left on another thread.. no you cant buy it back still havent got the window fixed. but hoping its ok .. quite funny when i go through drive throughs and car parks, and dartford tolls were interesting on the way home when i bought it, as i have to open my door and get out for the ticket:P haha Never mind hopefully get it sorted soon,,, I'll send you the bill

My boyfriend fixed the temp sensor earlier on today, the part cost £10 from ebay, easy to fit (think i would have even been able to do it ) , it took around 10 minutes, i read that your car uses more fuel when the sensor isnt working properlly so would probably be best to fix it. the coolant needed topping up after the new sensor had been fitted due to the loss of so much !! but all in all very easy. (that ebay link is what you need ) hope it goes well:) and my engine is only 1.0 quite painful when trying to over take but looks nice soo dont care

Ive ordered the part. just waiting for it to arrive. looks pretty simple to do. i got the part off ebay for £10 so its not a massive problem .

Yes thats right, worth the drive though i love it.. I hope i can carry out all the plans too, (with the help from my boyfriend) The dent is still there... sooo tiny but will be getting sorted, he also gave us the front wing he had bought to replace it .. but its blue.

I've started a new post on new members, but decided i would start my own on this topic also. Waiting to get some of my own photo's of my car and update on my progress with the plans i have for it. I bought it last thursday, Already lowered by 40mm, Debadged on the back with black vw badges, de-wipered, with front golf mk4 seats. It will not be staying like this and will keep you all updated. I also bought it with stickers on the front and back window. The stickers were removed yesterday. and now looking for some to replace them. At the weekend, I plan to fix my dodgy drivers window, and my dodgy temp sensor. (Fingers crossed).. loving my car but just cant wait to make it my own.

I bought my car from someone on edition 38, havent thought about looking on there for wheels though.. seen some nice ones on wheel whores, but havent had a reply on them yet. I dont really want leather, other wise i would. Out of curriosity how much aare you selling it for?

Hello, Definately getting some wheels, Thinking i want coilovers first... Hopefully steve will help me out in the hunt for some nice wheels. Also i really want my back seat to match my front?? they're mk4 golf seats.. what can i buy for the back ??

your car looks nice.. i notice youve got mk4 golf seats.. ive also got mk4 golf seats in the front. but want something that mathces better for the back ?? any suggestions. as my standard lupo seats have a blue insert?? where was i want plain black ??

Thats great, Thank you When my boyfriend looked on the internet on how to resolve this, it said he will need a lot more to do so also such as piping and things :S .. did you just buy the sensor ??

Since ive had my lupo i've noticed that my tempertature gauge doesnt move, it stays at freezing cold, rarely moves a little bit but only when my car is stopped. I've read on the internet about this problem, and read that it is most probably my sensor . can anyone help?? is this right and would this be easily resolved? Thanks

Hi All, New to this scene, I've had my lupo since last Thursday And I Love it.. Looking to make it better obviously with the help of my boyfriend. At the moment its lowered by 40mm looking to get coilovers to lower by atleast 70. Its black with MK4 Golf front seats, Also looking for some black seats for the back. and some nice wheels !! Pictures will be uploaded when the weathers a bit better. Not much else to say at the moment, I'll update on my progress
