  1. Hello I have this for sale if interested. It has been my wifes car for 18 months. 2002 Sport completely standard. Approx 70k Service history, timing belt and water pump done last year. Can put 12 months MOT on it, current MOT runs out in August. Tax till July. Very good condition except for a small scratch and small ding in front bumper. The car is registered CAT D(damage repairable, but insurer chose not to repair). We bought the car as it is now. The damage was to drivers side front wing and door. The repair is of a very high standard and you would not know to look at the car anything had ever been done. £1850 ono
  2. Hi all I have been reading this tread with great interest. I think my wife's Arosa 16v Sport has started to develop the pinion bearing problem. There is a slight whine that seems in increase/decrease with road speed. I want to strip the box and replace the offending part before it all goes tits up. My question is can anyone tell me exactly what parts I need to replace? Any info would be greatly apprecieated.
  3. Hi all, My wifes Arosa Sport has developed a notch when depreesing/releasing the cluth pedal. The pedal box has been done, and it has a new cable. Could it be the clutch( the car was driven for quite a while with a broken pedal box) or have I missed something when I did the pedal box? Any ideas would be welcome.
  4. Hi all, my wife's Arosa Sport feels down on power. It had new HT leads a few weeks back as it was missing under load when driving. Just wondering if any one has any ideas befor I start chucking parts at it. I would have to say it feels like the larger engined VAG group cars when the air flow sensor goes. I have checked for codes and there are none. It runs fine and has no other problems. Any ideas would be greatly appreiceated. Cheers

    hello to all

Thanks for the warm welcome people. Cheers!
  6. Yeh, got some sockets specially for removing rounded/damaged bolts etc. Work very well on locking wheel bolts when the key goes walk about.
  7. Car fixed. It was theHT leads in the end. With reference to the pedal box I had to do mine when I bought the car. Ordered a new one and the wrong one turned up! I couldn't be bothered to wait for another one to turn up so I welded it. I put extra welds along the offending bracket, and so far(touches wood) it's been okay.
  8. Only every use NGK in all my cars so no problem there. Cheers.
  9. Cheers for quick reply lupoluke. Got some new plugs coming on Monday so will try these first. Will let u know.
