Hey
I'm looking to put some Lexus lights on my Lupo. Thing is, I was scrolling through them and some of them say MKI and some say MKII. I never knew that there was such a thing? Can anyone clarify this for me.
Thanks

Well now you know they are for certain have you ordered one yet?
Not yet. Been looking at a few different RipSpeed actually. I've come to the conclusion that I can always buy a dash mounted Sat Nav

Normally when I've seen these, you can control the iPod from either the headunit or the device, although certain things on the device are disabled (volume control for example). Whether it would work... No idea. It may be sketchy especially as the software has been written for the 4th gen units. It would probably work on 5th gen too, but i somewhat doubt it with regards to 6th.

I always thought RipSpeed were decent anyway?

Great looking Lupo! The alloys compliment the colour beautifully.

Hi,
what make/model? and also, what features?
cheers

Hehe, okay, I didn't write that very well. Of course the sat nav uses the screen, but i asked the fella selling them and it apparently gives you the directions out of the speakers while having the map on the machine. I would prefer NOT to look at the screen and to have it direct me through the voice. So that is where I was coming from Sorry about that!

I've heard that the screen quality is questionnable, but I'm really looking for the sat nav features rather than the ability to view DVD's. We'll see what pops up cheers everyone!

Hello,
I did a search for VW Lupo central locking and found a post here, but it was a little out of date and the links had died. I just wondered if anyone else had fitted a own central locking kit into a Lupo. I was looking at these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNIVERSAL-REMOTE-KEY...id=p3286.c0.m14
I just wondered what it entails. I really don't fancy chopping any trim etc. If its a bit too much, I might just give it a miss. The 106 never had central locking, so I can live without it ;)
Also, I assume this is just a safety feature, but the passenger door always requires two pulls of the handle before it opens (even when it isn't locked), would the central locking kit mess around with this etc?
Thanks

It was a shame. The 106 had a few more years left in it and was a decent little runner. Nippy as well, with a decent amount of boot space (bigger than the Lupo) and quite a large glove box.
But for general build quality, driving experience, engine quality etc, the Lupo blows the 106 out of the water.
I will get some photos up over the next few days. I'm still going over it and making sure its how i like it

Welcome to Clublupo mate
I notice you said crashed on A34 that stoke?
Hi Stav,

Hello,
I'm Joe, I was posting on my old mans account before. I started driving the Lupo about a week or go and I'm starting to fall in love
I used to drive a Peugeot 106, however a Vauxhall Corsa piled up my rear end at near on 60mph. A little bit gutting seeing as that is what i'd learnt to drive in, passed my test in etc etc. Funny really, but the old lady who caused the crash (car in front who stopped because she 'thought' she saw a dog) said "oh don't worry darling, it's only a little knock"
.......Yes that is my car and back window in a million little pieces on the A34.
Anyway, we picked up the dark green Lupo the other day and i'm chuffed to bits with it. Its stylish, its nippy and its comfortable. I haven't had chance to really give it a good drive, but I am looking forward to when I do.
41000 miles, 1 owner from new, service history, MOT+TAX... £1400.
Rock n Roll!

So does that mean if they fit a Lupo, they'll fit any Lupo? and if they fit the Arosa, they'll also fit the Lupo?
