  7. u wanna know the exact numbers? i always see them on auto trader. mind you they always seem to be yellow =S
  8. Well ill give you the details of the work i had done. Drivers side door had really bad dint, entire front and rear bumper resprayed, bad dint removed from front bumper, rear drivers side wheel arch sprayed. door bumpers removed and cleaned. All that came to £400 but i think i got a good deal cos its one of my cousins mates. Glad you like, wouldnt mind smoking the rear lights black and refurbing my alloys.
  9. Paintwork got done a few weeks ago. heres some pics after i gave it a polish the other day Hope you like
  10. regardless of whether the engine has been remapped or not its how you drive the car which effects the mpg. top gear did a test involving a prius on a track with a bmw m3 keeping up with it and the prius used more juice than the beemer. Id also say it depends how good your remap is. ive seen adjustable units on the net but they cost a fair bit.
  11. If youve got the money try n get a lupo tdi. remap on one of them up to about 100bhp and 60+mpg. win!!!

    what happened to this car?
  17. id reccomend the coilovers ive got. some TA techniks. got mine off ebay for £220 new from germany. adjustable from 30-80mm drop. i ant had any problems with them. when it comes to fitting it helps if you know someone. i wud say your looking at £100 for fitting.
  18. ive got 15's with the same tire measurement your interested in. im on a set of TA coilovers with about 70-75mm drop and ive got no rubbing isues at all. dont get me wrong, you cant go flying over speedbumps and i wunt go offroad any time soon but other than that you shud be fine. if your tight on money id reccomend looking on ebay. get a set of bbs ra's. old school and very stylish =) and alot cheaper than £550
  19. looks sweet man. i tried to take mine out before and the bolts on the steering column are absolute lovely persons to get out so i left it. got some aliminium dial surrounds i wanna put on but cant at the mo until i get the right tools
  20. Hey, was just wondering how to remove the back bumper of a mk1 seat arosa? just wanted to take it off so it can be sprayed professionally to match the paint work. Any help much appreciated =)
  21. there are two long screws in the front of the bumper which you need to remove. there are also a couple in the front wheel arches. once these are out there are clips all the way along the fron bumper which you need to carefully prize out with a screwdriver. be careful not to snap them. once youve managed to get all the clips free the bumper should come off. I did it on my arosa to spray the bumper up black and it worked a treat.
  22. With regard to taking the front off the speedo there are 2 screws which you have found in the top corners.there are also two more screws which you can only get to if you drop the steering wheel column. these are hard to get to but can be done if you have the right tools
  23. I always thought if i had the money and it was possible that id buy a 3L, strip it down as much as possible and swap a gti engine into it. im probably gunna be bombarded with how this cant be done now
  24. I have this exact same problem on my 99 arosa and i soon realised that the plastic cover over the washer jet was blocking the jet stream as it seems to be firing too low. this might be worth checking on yours

I tried to put a bmw style fin on my arosa only to find out that it was too long and overhung the rear boot so it wouldnt go on. some wiring is also involved so i really wouldnt advise it at all
